Instead of hiding from her and her hunting us down, we decided to do the opposite and go on the hunt ourselves and get those keys from the monster woman.
I talked to the three and seen what they had to offer, fighting wise.
Moronio had the V-Tech inaraian hyper spear. He learned how to use it properly and how to utilize its electrical properties. No doubt, he would be a welcome addition to combat.
Daisuke had wings and can fly with them for a very long time, as she stated. She just chose to be in moro's hood because it was warm and cozy. She had a stinger that had a venom that causes one to go numb, like a tranquilizer. She should remain in moro's hood to act as our ace up our sleeves.
Then lastly, there's xylu. The way he explained it to me, he is a shadow being. He can merge with shadows and emerge from any other shadow within reasonable reach, he said approximately twenty or so feet. His claws can tear through common metals on their own, but when imbued with his dark energies, it is far more sharper. He can also fire dark based projectiles, but this drains his stamina faster. He doesn't look too sturdy, best have him as long ranged and stealth attacks.
"Mkay so....moro, you're fighting by my side as the secondary main offense." I stated.
"Aight, I'm cool with that..." he said with a nod.
"Daisuke, you'll hide in his hood, until you see an opportunity to jump out and sting her." I said, pointing at her.
"Aye aye!" Dai said, giving me a cute salute.
"And xylu, you'll be the sneaky one. Your job is to get as many cheap shots in to weaken her as possible while trying to get the keys. We don't know if she's immortal or not, but the main goal anyways is to just get the keys. If we at least get the keys, we can bail while she's under the influence of Daisuke's poison and get outta this creepy ass place!" I said, shivering a bit. This place did creep me the hell out.
"I'll do my best!" Xylu said with confidence, even though his legs were shaking.
I couldn't help, but be curious about the young demi-feline and his eyepatch. He doesn't seem like the hard as nails personality type to make me think he's a battle hardened warrior or the like.
Xylu caught me staring at it and immediately looked down, twiddling his fingers shyly.
"The slit mouthed woman took his eye in our first run in with her. Got him with her oversized shears. Something else to take in consideration. They are frickin huge and despite there being concrete walls, she can slice through em with ease and her shears never going dull!" Moro explained.
Great, not only is she freaky and scary looking, but she's also powered up and has giant ass shears. Boy, it can't possibly get any better than this! (Totally sarcastic)
Once we all had our crap together, we left the room we were hiding in and went on the prowl.
The school's lights worked, but most were just flickering or came in and out constantly. There were deep gashes on the walls, as well as copious amounts of blood splatters on them and the floors. The halls were dead quiet and eerie as hell, with the occasional sounds of sparks coming from exposed wiring and dripping sounds from what i assume to either be leaky pipes or blood....most likely the later, due to all the bodies scattered around.
All in all, it checks off everything off the "classic horror school" list. Though it was all i've seen video games or movies, it's more creepy and scarier in person, due to the prior knowledge that there's a psycho monster chick wandering the same halls! However, we have to find her, whether we liked it or not.
It would be a long while of sneaking around, before we got aggravated. Moro would tap my shoulder, getting my attention, to point to a classroom that was seemingly empty. I nodded my head as we went in to gather our bearings. With Xylu gently closing the door behind us, trying to not make a sound. We would all huddle to the back of the room, away from the door and window. There was plenty to hide behind if need be as well, such as tables, cabinets, and desks.
"This is getting us nowhere! She's probably on another floor or she's watching us, just to pounce!" Moro said with a growl.
"Fairly likely on both of those. She's slippery or we're slow." I said, sitting in a nearby chair.
"Dai doesn't like this place! Its too creepy!" Daisuke said, shivering in moro's hood.
"I could scout from the shadows again. That might give us an idea!" Xylu offered.
"Sure, go ahead and do that-" i said, before i heard the footsteps again. It was her, and she was really close.
We all nodded, before going for a hiding place, given we were not prepared for this in the slightest. However, there was a loud whooshing sound, before the door to the room splintered, and exploded across the room.
She would walk in casually and look at us. She had caught us with our pants down, so to speak.
She had long, flowing, black hair and steely blue eyes. Her face was obsured by a medical mask, like the legend stated she had. She wore a long trench coat that reached her knees, with black slacks it seems, and some formal black shoes with heels, not high heels, low heels.
"I have finally found you....Pandora's lover....." she said, sounding seemingly human.
I looked confused, looking at the others, meeting with them shaking their heads as if to say "not me dude.".
She would point to me, making me flinch a bit.
"Uh, i think ya got the wrong guy....i don't know pandora at all. Just know that she's behind all this!" I protested.
"You're the reincarnation of her lost husband. Lord Chaos has spoke it so. I am to bring you to her, so don't make this difficult for you and your friends here...." she said with a low, threatening tone.
"Hell no! I'm not going with the likes of you!" I protested and prepared myself for a fight.
"Don't force my hand young man.....i was given permission to fight you if need be. Because her witch companion she has acquired, can heal you if need be.....i just can't kill you. Again, if you force my hand, i will break you if i must to bring you back....if not kill your friends to persuade you....." she said, pulling out her shears. Like moronio stated before, they were several feet long, stained with blood and an eerie aura to it, probably the malice she's giving off or the souls attached to it from those she's slain.
"Well, looks like we're gonna have a problem then! Remember the plan guys!" I said, getting ready to fight. Everyone on my team did the same.
The slit mouthed woman would sigh deeply, before glaring at us.
