As we stood there and looked up there, trying to figure out what her next move would be, tension and anxiety would begin to build in the air.
All saturn had to do, is get a solid hit or two in on the demon. Me and Pluto had to limit or inhibit her movement so Saturn could actually get a swing in. It's a shoddy plan, but hopefully it works!
"What's wrong? Scared of little ol me?" Teke teke cackled.
We remained silent, ready to jump into action.
"Eh?! Ignoring me are you?? How rude!" She exclaimed, before charging right at us.
Pluto would unleash a barrage of purple energy bolts at the demon from her garnet rod. This would hit her a few times, stunning her just long enough to blast her with a smoke cloud i conjured up. This would blind her, giving Saturn her que to follow up with an attack to end this fight.
She would jump into the smoke and, from what i could make out, take a swing at the demon. Something disheartening would be heard instead of a gushing sound and a painful cry, a loud clang and cackle as Saturn was sent flying and hit a nearby tree hard, with a cut across her chest, bleeding.
"Shit! Saturn's dow-" before i could finish, i quickly put up my guard as she came for me next, delivering a slash attack with her scythe, that sent me through a tree and hitting another in my backside.
I looked at my arms and seen deep gashes in them, as well as my blood. Had i have been human, i would have kissed my arms goodbye. My back hurts from the impact, hopefully it's not anything serious.....
Pluto let out a pained cry as she was sent flying as well after a clang, but she landed on a tree and a branch impaled her through the side. Thankfully, judging from human anatomy, it didn't hit anything vital, but now she was high up in a tree and bleeding pretty bad.
How did our plan flop so badly??
My reptilian side started to kick in and regeneration started setting in as my wounds started to close.
"You will join the spirits here!! Now fall and cry in despair!!" Said teke teke as she rushed at me.
I kept an eye on her scythe as it swung towards me at an angle from my right. I would jump over the slash and deliver a front kick to her face, causing her to clutch it in pain, stunning her long enough for me to wrap my tail around her waist and sling her into a nearby tree. I didn't let go, i kept slinging her around into trees and rocks, so long as i had my grip on her.
Suddenly, i felt a sharp pain in my tail that caused me to let go, launching her into the woods. I looked at my tail, seeing several deep stab marks. She plunged her finger nails into it, apparently.
No sanitizing spray on me, great. No telling when she last washed her hands if she did. Ugh, i gonna catch something....
"Why do you side with these humans and senshi? You're a demon that works for lady Pandora! They're the enemy! Wait....where is your mark??" She asked as she rose from some bushes.
I glanced up to check on pluto and seen she was gone as well as the branch she was impaled on. Saturn must have managed to get her while i was dealing with teke teke.
"Answer me, lizard boy!" She scowled.
"They're more my style than you freaks. They have morals and crap! My leader though, he's super strong, and very cool in my perspective. Not to mention how metal he is! Hahah! Dude took on a horror icon, got his arm lopped off, and still trucked through it! Dude doesn't care about how the odds are stacked against him, he just kicks ass to save everyone! And i respect that in a fellow man." I said as i lit another whisper wood branch and got some smoke going.
"A fool you are.....I'LL DELIVER YOUR HEAD AND GAIN HER PRAISE!!" She said, charging at me.
Suddenly, during her mid charge, she was impaled by Saturn's glaive, stopping her dead in her tracks. Saturn would weakly rise from the leaves she was covered in. I had no idea she was hiding there the whole time, so it took me by surpise too.
"Wha....when....." teke said, gurgling blood.
"Due to my...small size....i was crawling on the ground....despite my injuries....i even managed to...lob my glaive at ...the branch pluto was impaled on and....got her down....then i merely hid myself....in the leaves, waiting for the right opportunity...." saturn said, breathing heavily. It was clear she was in immense pain.
Teke would raise her scythe in an attempt to finish off Saturn. Without wasting any time, i dashed to the two and wrapped my tail around teke's throat and squeezed hard.
She would drop her scythe and struggled against me, clawing at me and gurgling blood. I would grit my teeth and channeled my anger towards her, tightening my grip. I would then yank my tail, ripping teke's ugly head off her torso. For good measure, I'd then slam the head in the dirt and curb stomp it to paste. I didn't know whether or not if she could come back if her head was intact, but i wasn't taking that chance.
Her remains would start to catch fire, with an eerie dark purple flame, and then blow away like ash.
It was all over, and damn was it rough....
I pulled out my communicator and dialed up Mercury.
"Heard you were the doctor of the group....we need someone to come get us. Both senshi are badly hurt, and I'm tapped out..." i said as i slumped against a tree.
"I marked your location. Just make sure they are laying still, so that they don't succumb to bleeding. Just do what you can until we get there." She said, before hanging up.
I conjured up what energy i had to position the girls so that they were on their backs. I tried to rip off a piece of my gilded cloak to help stop the bleeding, but it was too tough to tear. Even the part where the scythe got me, which means that scythe of hers was super sharp.
I would start to doze off as i heard people coming up to us, and eventually passed out.
