More than one heart
Is vying to claim mine
As its own,
But the one that I seek
Can't be found.
I know that I cannot wait forever,
That I must not discard
Those good hearts that wait,
But - softly - I still
Turn them away.
I think of the man I long for,
The love that I seek -
He does not hide;
He is simply out of reach.
