So this is a tiny oneshot based on a chapter in my TOH gc called "People just got asked out bro"  very elegant title, I know. Anyway, if you haven't read that, it might be a good idea to do so so this makes a bit more sense. Anyway, enjoy!

Edric's POV:
It's another day at school. Emira and I are walking down the noisy halls when I hear someone calling my name. When I turn around, I see Jerbo, a really cute guy who I may or may not have a crush on.

"Hey Jerbo, what's up?" I say, kind of excited that he's actually talking to me. Or, about to talk to me, anyway.

"Um, h-hey Edric. I-I um..." He stutters, looking and sounding really nervous. It isn't until now that I realize Viney's behind him, trying to get him to say whatever he's trying to say.

"I...I THINK YOU'RE FACE IS CUTE. S-sorry, that was loud. I think you're cute. Do you wanna go somewhere tomorrow?"

Holy Titan. Jerbo, the Jerbo, just asked me out. I can't believe it.

"U-um, yeah! I'd love to!" I reply, squealing on the inside.

"OKAY, SEE YOU TOMORROW AT SEVEN THEN!" He yells, running away. Viney facepalms before running after him.

"Wow, look at you, Cucumber. Getting asked out and stuff." Em says, playfully punching my arm.

"Yeah!! I can't believe it!" I exclaim, literally jumping with excitement.

"I can! You're a pretty cool dude, Eddie." She replies as we continue walking.

I'm not sure if I'm really cool, but I'm cool enough for Jerbo, and that's all that matters.
