366.Did She Find Out?

Daesung was caught off guard when he heard Lalisa's remarks. His gaze darkened as he looked at her and found her smile eerie.

He felt goosebumps in his body seeing her smile.

' Why does she look so confident? Does she know anything?' he clenched his fists tightly as sweat beads started forming on his forehead.

Lalisa noticed the few changes in his body and how his pupils started to roam around in nervousness.

The doubt she had previously was confirmed with his flustered behavior.

Mingyu who was standing by the side was confused when he heard Lalisa's words.

" Lalisa, what do you mean by underhanded deeds? What are you trying to say?" he looked at Lalisa and questioned her why she said those words earlier.

Jeongguk was also confused by Lalisa's words. He looked at her and waited for her response.

Lalisa didn't reply to Mingyu and looked at Daesung who was drenched in sweat.

When he saw Lalisa's gaze in him, he became alert. He looked at her and retorted her words while retorting, " Your highness, are you doubting me? I have given precious 20 years of my life in the service of Wen Family."

" I never regretted it because Master Park always respected me and treated me like a family. But here you are coming and doubting my loyalty. " Daesung's words touched people's hearts as they nodded in acknowledgment along with him.

Lalisa raised her brows and looked at the way he was trying to get people on his side. She sneered and said," Are you done? You said so many things, so can I take them as your confirmation that you didn't do anything underhanded and was always loyal to Brother Park right?"

Lalisa was least interested in his words and only wanted to prove that this man who is talking about loyalty has been cheating them for don't know since when?

Daesung tightened his jaw and said, " Yes. I have always been loyal to Prince Mingyu and Park Family. " He believed that Lalisa could not find anything and was just bluffing.

Lalisa smiled and looked at Mingyu," Brother Park, can I ask you a favor? "

Mingyu was caught off guard when she suddenly spoke to him. He was in a daze and nodded his head.

" Can you show me your account book of this year so that I can show you why I am saying such words?" she said in a gentle tone with her gaze directed on Daesung.

Daesung got flustered and wondered, ' Why does this girl need an account book? What is she planning to do?'

" Prince Mingyu, you can't show an account book to her highness. How can you show her our shop's account details?" Daesung looked at Mingyu and said he was worried about showing an account book to the outsider.

Lalisa raised her brows and said, " Brother Park, I want to see your shop's account book not as the Empress of Jeong Dynasty but as your little sister. You said that I can ask you anything, right?"

Jeongguk's expressions turned gloomy when Lalisa talked to Mingyu in a sweet tone.

He turns his head to look at Lalisa who was looking beautiful and charming with her innocent smile mixed with confidence.

His stiff expressions turned gentle when he saw her smile.

Mingyu who was looking at Jeongguk was feeling goosebumps seeing his changing expressions. One moment he was angry and the other moment, he started smiling.

' This man is weird.' he shook his head as he found his brother strange.

Mingyu asked someone to bring the account book while Daesung was fidgeting on his place.

He nervously looked at Lalisa and wondered, ' Why am I feeling nervous when I know that this girl can't do anything to me? She won't even understand what's wrong with the account, so there is no way she will be able to prove her words.'

Lalisa gave Daesung a mocking look before taking the account book in her hands.

She placed it on the counter and opened it to take a look at it.

Daesung was standing behind and looked at Mingyu, " Prince Mingyu, today you have humiliated me. I? have served the Park family for so long and you guys are treating me like this. I know that I did wrong by worrying about the shop and stopping her highness from knowing the information about her accounts but do I have to get treated like this just to prove my loyalty"

Mingyu was put in an awkward situation when he heard Daesung's words. Daesung was his father's loyal man and has followed his father around that's why he has appointmented him at The Royal Brush because he has trusted him.

But now hearing Lalisa's words, it seems she has some doubts about him.

He is surprised as well from her behavior but he doesn't know why he believes her more than the man who has worked with him for a year and who has followed Park family for so long.

Mingyu didn't say anything to Daesung and stood there silently while watching Lalisa looking at his account book.

Jeongguk was also standing there and was staring at interest seeing her looking at the account books keenly.

After a while, Lalisa closed the account book and turned to face Daesung.

Daesung was surprised when he turned around. His lips curled upwards as he was sure that Lalisa was unable to find anything because she has looked at the book only for a while.

Lalisa's face was devoid of any expressions but when she saw Daesung's smile, her lips curled upwards automatically.

" Supervisor Kang, is this account book maintained by you or someone else?"

Daesung frowned when he heard Lalisa's authoritative tone, " I manage this account book." He answered her plainly.

" So there is no one else to check the accounts? You manage the shop and also the accounts and there is no one to check it? Right?" Lalisa looked at Daesung and asked in suspiciously.

Daesung frowned and said, " Prince Mingyu checks this book from time to time. But your highness, what are you trying to say?" His jaw tightened because her gaze was mocking and looking down at him.

He started to feel uncomfortable from her gaze.

' Did she find out? How can that be possible? Even Master Park didn't find anything these years, so how could this girl find anything?' his hands clenched tightly as he looked at Lalisa.
