For your fifth wedding anniversary to your manly husband, Eijiro Kirishima. You thought it would be a cute idea to do a surprise theme anniversary party. He has been working so hard as a pro-hero lately, so you wanted to do this for him. You went with a shark them since you would like to refer to him as your shark boy.
You invited all your friends and told them to wear something shark related. Then you went all out with menu items that had the same theme. You got your husband and you matching shark onesies with shark slides.
When you invited Fatgum, you got him to agree to close early. He made the excuse of a family thing, so Eijiro wouldn't be suspicious. You even got the help of your cousin Mina to keep him distracted for an hour so all the guests can arrive and get into place.
Mina used the guise of helping Eijiro pick an anniversary present for you. It was all set in motion.
On the day of the party, you and everyone were waiting for Eijiro and Mina to arrive. When they did, as soon as Eijiro opened the door, everyone popped out, screaming happy anniversary.
His face lit up as he saw you run up to him. He thought you were the cutest thing in your onesie and slides. He was kind of jealous because he wanted the same outfit, but he wouldn't say that right now. He would just get himself one later.
You smile, "Hey shark boy. Go upstairs and change into the clothing on the bed. I picked out something for you."
He smiled, "Thank you, pebble. But before I do, open your gift."
You opened to find a cute little gold shark necklace with the eye being his birthstone. You loved it. He put it on you and then kissed your forehead. He ran upstairs to get changed so he could get back to you and the party.
Eijiro was so excited because there was a matching onesie and slides for him, too. He quickly got dressed and zoomed downstairs. He ran up to you and engulfed you in a bear hug.
He tears up a little, "I love it. Aren't we just the manliest and cutest."
You kissed his cheek, "Yes we are."
The party was amazing. The problem is set in the days after. Whenever he didn't have to wear his uniform, he was wearing the onesie and slides. He never wanted to take it off. He kept it in his bag with him when he went to work. He loved it that much. It was starting to smell like sweat. But you couldn't get it away from him to wash.
Until you came up with a plan. You bought several of the onesies and slides. You hid the onesies in a secret spot in the closest that your manly husband didn't know about. When he would shower, and just before he would change, you would switch out the onesies. Then, when he went to work, you would wash it and put it back in your stash. For the slides, when they are smelling not so fresh, you would swap them out and put them in the shed in your yard that he never goes into and spray them.
It was this way for years, and he never caught on. Your husband is the sweetest and manliest man you know. He's just not bright sometimes, but that's ok. Which, for this it worked in your favor.
You had a long and happy life with him, eventually having twin boys. Who, he had bought matching onesies to take them home from the hospital in.
