Kuroo felt chills down his spine while at lunch. He was just sitting with his volleyball friends when he felt it. He looked around and saw you glaring at him. He shivered, and not in a good way. What did he do?
Kenma, still not looking up, “You must have done something because she has been glaring for ten minutes now.”
Kuroo looked at Kenma, “I haven’t even spoken to her.”
Yamamoto chuckles, “I wouldn’t want such a cutie mad at me.”
Kuroo threw his hands in the air, “I didn’t do anything.”
You, on the other hand, were just staring at Kuroo. You weren’t mad at him, but your resting face is angry. You didn’t even realize how bad it looked and that you were scaring him.
You aren’t even a mean person. You just match people’s energy. If they are respectful and nice to you, you give it back. If they are nasty, you still give it back. You are of the mind set you give what you get. But your resting face is just natural.
You like Kuroo. You think he’s so handsome and talented in volleyball. You just don’t have the courage to talk to him. You know he would never like a chubby girl like yourself.
You finally look away and turn your attention back to your friends. You were just stealing glances here and there until lunch ended.
Kuroo, well he was sweating bullets. He is pretty sure he was going to die at the hands of the cutie before the day is out. Yes, he thinks you are cute. He is just scared of you.

The staring has been going on for a few months. Kuroo hates going to lunch. You have really made him antsy and scared. He is wondering when you will pop out of nowhere and kill him with how bad the glaring has gotten.
But with you, it wasn’t like that. You were angry at yourself and not him. You don’t like being a chicken. So, you have decided you were going to confess. You just wanted to get if off your chest even though you know you are going to be rejected.
You walk up to him and tap his shoulder. He turns around with his signature smirk but sees you and freezes. Before you can say anything, he runs away. This broke your heart. Where you really that ugly?
You ran to the bathroom to cry. Kenma saw you run by in tears. He shrugs it off and goes to class. It’s not his business.
When he sits in his seat next to Kuroo, he notices he is shaking.
Kenma sighs, “What did you do?”
Kuroo looks at him, “What are you talking about?”
“I saw L/N run into the bathroom crying. You are here looking scared.”
That stops Kuroo, “What? She was crying. Why?”
“How should I know? I just saw what I saw.”
Kuroo’s mind was turning with so many questions. Why were you crying? Who made you cry? How could you be crying when you were so scary? He wanted to know. The curiosity in him was over taking his fear and he decided there and then to find out.
It taken long for him to get his answers. As he was looking around the school for you, he heard your voice. You were talking to one of your friends by the water fountain. He stood around the corner to eavesdrop.
You were sniffling, “I told you. He ran from me. I don’t need to confess. I know my answer. He thinks I’m hideous.”
“I don’t think that’s N/N. You know you have that angry resting face. I think you just scare him. You need to have a talk with him. Besides you have like him since day one, don’t you want to confess?”
