"Where is she?" Sunghoon looked at the door.

"She must've been here by now right?" Jake looked at Niki.

"She's not picking up." Sunoo said in frustration.

Everyone was waiting at the dining. Leah had left to get Jungwon's phone 15 minutes ago and it shouldn't take that much time to come back.

"I'll go and see." One of them got up and went for the door.

"I'll come with you." Niki and Sunoo stood up as well.

"No it's fine. She might not like how clingy we are being. Let him go alone." Jay said.

Niki and Sunoo sat down begrudgingly and the boy nodded at Jay before leaving. Where did she go all of a sudden? Was she talking to some staff? That was the only thing he could think of that would keep her down. What would any of them have to talk about anyway? He was having a bad gut feeling so he hurried for the studio.

And he hated that he was right. Because when he opened the door to the studio, he saw her shuffling through the couch. And he knew immediately something was off.

**************************

I heard the door of the clubhouse open. I quickly wiped off my tears and rushed to the couches to look for any phone wedged in between the cushions.

Breathe in. Breathe out.
Breathe in. Breathe out.

My only concern left was my eyes. I was sure they were red and puffy. Hoping for my spontaneous skills to come to my aid, I turned to the studio door when it creaked open.

Jungwon stood there in confusion.
"Baby? What are you doing?"

Gulping hard at his endearment, I smiled nervously.

"Your phone Wonnie. I couldn't find it." I turned my back to him to look at another couch.

Breathe in. Breathe out.

I heard his footsteps approaching and he stopped behind me.

"How long have you been searching for?" He asked softly.

"5 minutes now. Where did you even lose it?" My voice was a bit raspy. But I hoped it would go unnoticed.  I kept my back to him to play safe.

"You did not find it yet?" He asked.

"No."

He tapped my back and pointed at the speakers. The phone was on the stand, in full display for anyone who might look around. I grimaced at being caught so easily.

"Oh." I slapped my forehead and went to the speakers and picked up the phone.

When I came back to him, I faked a yawn so he wouldn't see my eyes.

"Let's go." I said and turned to the door.

Jungwon caught my hand and I couldn't help but flinch. He stepped infront of me.

"Look at me." His voice sent chills down my spine, almost compelling.

I shook my head. I did not want him to see my face. But I was shocked when he caught hold of my jaw and forced me to look at him. He sucked in a sharp breath.

"Why are you crying?" His voice was still hard and I wanted nothing but to get away from him.

"Uh my mother just told me that a...relative of mine has died." Such a typical excuse but always believable in college. But this was no college and Jungwon was no teacher of mine.

Jungwon raised an eyebrow. "You really don't want to lie, baby. Trust me on that."

He came closer to my face, a look of warning in his eyes. Whatever underlying threat his words had, reached me perfectly. But still I was curious to know what he would do if I kept on lying.
