Chapter 47

Leah's face did not show that she was still flustered. She remembered the video. What she saw was Niki in the chorus. He was at the far left when Jungwon's chorus came. And he did the step differently from others. Where the original choreo highlighted their upper body and arm movement, Niki wasn't moving his at all. Instead, he was hip thrusting. She'd seen so many of them and normally she'd just squeal and giggle. But Niki's hip thrust was...well it didn't exactly look like a dance move to her. She covered her mouth to smother the traumatic expression.

The commotion inside the room quitened a bit when Leah's phone rang. She was back to her place on the couch beside Sunoo and Niki.

When she drew back from Jungwon, he had dug his nails into his palms to stop himself from pulling her back. The tingling fog was gone completely when she sat down on the couch. Leah silenced the phone immediately after seeing who it was. She shook her head at the boys and they continued on with their talking. They had seen Jungwon go dead inside when Leah hugged him. Then a sickening delight spread on his face as he basked in her affection. At normal times, they would've been worried for their friend. But what could they say now? Knowing most of them would have the same reaction as Jungwon.

In a few seconds the phone rang again. Leah silenced it again. She had enough experience with this to know not to pick up in front of the boys. When the phone rang for the third time, she groaned. The boys looked at her in confusion.

"Who is it?" Jungwon asked.

"Uh...a friend." She replied, wanting to silence it again but thought better of it. What if it was urgent? She had called her three times. And Leah picked up Shireen's call.

"Hey-"

"They're coming girl! Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my GOD. I can't breathe." Shireen screamed.

"Wh- what? Are you ok? Who's coming?" Leah stood up in alarm. Shireen was breathing very hard. She cursed at herself for not picking up sooner. The boys stood up too. But then heard a scream from the other side. Leah flinched and put the phone away from her ears.

"Bro, what's wrong?! Tell me damnit!" Leah cursed. She was worried about what happened.

"Enhypen is coming to India!"

The official news must've been out. Hence Shireen was going crazy.

"They're going to give a performance in Mumbai. BRO WHY AM I SO BROKE?!" She screamed again.

"Really? Enhypen is coming?! When?" I asked her and looked at the boys. They looked relieved that it wasn't something serious. I sat back down on the couch.

"They're coming next week possibly and they will perform in Mumbai by the end of the month! Right before our exams that too."  She cried. She was actually crying.

"Bro don't cry. It's not like we could go right? My exams will be over but even I can't go. There's no point in crying." I said.

"But your exams will be over before the mini concert why can't you go?" She sniffed.

"Dude that shit is going to cost me a kidney. Which my parents won't allow me to sell. And it's bloody Mumbai. Who will go there?" I asked her.

She wailed some more and I looked at the boys. They were listening intently to my phone call.

"Will I ever see my Jungwon in this lifetime?" She sniffed.

"Ah don't worry you'll see your husband in this lifetime. Become a CMA and take me to Korea with you as well." I gave a teasing smile to Jungwon and it clicked to him who it was. Now that I had opened up the conversation to Jungwon. She was going to rave about him. I put the phone on speaker for him to listen. Now I did not mind if she spilled something about my love for them. Everyone gathered close to listen.
