A simple sand colored sundress with a huge bow at the back. Even though it was plain, the cloth was textured and flowy. I could sort of see both Sunghoon and Sunoo's style in this. I ran my hand down the high waisted V neck bodice. It fit perfectly. I did a little twirl to see the skirt fall back down below the knee. It was pretty, to say the least.

I could definitely count on Sunghoon, Sunoo and Jay's taste. I wasn't privy to others'. But I was damn sure that Heeseung's fashion sense was too vile for me. I internally shuddered remembering the bralet kind of tops he kept on suggesting with too long slit lehengas. Not to mention how he eyed the mini skirts in one of those shops.

But I wondered what else they had brought without telling me. And mostly, when? They knew my clothing size, shoe size, and my ring size as well. Now the only thing left was my cup size. I really wouldn't be shocked to learn if they knew that as well. But the strangest thing was that they remembered the power of my glasses. Even I didn't remember what the doctor had said but they did.

I reached for the pearls. If I had them, why not just use them? Sunoo hadn't even batted an eye when Jay mentioned that he had lost a few. A bunch of real pearls were that insignificant to him. I pinned four of them to the side and left the rest of my hair in waves.

I put on Jake's bracelet and Sunoo's necklace. They were something I'd be more than happy to incorporate into my daily wear. While adjusting the necklace, my eyes focused on the ring. I hadn't really taken note of it last night. Now that I had time, I moved over to the window for the little sunlight.

Again, the only thing that came to my mind was- the prettiest one ever. The diamond sparkled so brightly under the sun. The silver band itself was so shiny. But after a few seconds of inspection, I squinted my eyes to get a better look at it. Every woman in our house had silver anklets, so I had seen my fair share of silver. And this looked different.

Almost instinctively, I reached out for my phone and snapped a picture of the ring. A quick Google search later, I gasped loudly. My eyes darted from the ring in my hand to the ring in the catalog.

Tiffany & Co.

Twenty Fucking Lakhs.

This small piece of stone and band costed more than my entire family's wealth. The metal felt too cold against my skin now.

I removed it and set it on the table. Not feeling good enough, I put it inside the drawer. But when sat back on the bed, I still felt antsy. I took the jewelry box of the necklace and put the ring inside before stuffing the same in the cupboard. I paced around in the room.

Tifanny...

Park Sunghoon and Sim Jaeyun...

For once I could believe that Sunghoon would pull such a stunt. But Jake? Who wanted to take it slow? Who wanted to give me a normal dating experience? This was his definition of normal? Then I remembered, it probably was. I felt nauseous.

How can they be so reckless with their money? I wished I could knock some sense into them but they'd probably tell me it was nothing. And I wasn't ready to hear that 20 Lakhs was nothing.

There was a knock on the door. I took a deep breath to calm myself as much as possible before opening it. It was Heeseung.

"Are you- oh." He stopped in between. He abruptly pulled me in for a kiss.

"What was that for?" I asked after I drew away first.

"You look pretty. And I don't need permission anymore." He wiggled his eyebrows.

"As if you needed it earlier." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm a gentleman, princess. I did always take permission." He said seriously.
