Chapter 35

And that's how Niki ended up teaching me the Chorus to Bite Me. It took me a few tries to perfect the body rolls and the hand movements but after 20 mins, I had leaned my most awaited choreo.

"The duet choreo will come later when you're good with your form. Ok?"

I nodded happily as Sunoo and Jungwon joined us for the first half of the Chorus.

"Oooo what do we have here?" Jake and Sunghoon came in.

"Niki is teaching me Bite me." I said happily.

They watched us doing the choreo and clapped for me at the end. I was too happy after leaning the step to be embarrassed about being clapped for my mediocre skills.

"Oh Jake." I called him. "You do the hand movements a bit differently. Can you pleaseeee do it once?" I asked him.

"Oh sure!" He came forward and did the steps for me to see.

"Oh this one, this one. Where you brush you hands against your jaw in your part." I repeated the hand movement after him. "How do you do this?" I asked him.

He showed it to me once again while everyone observed what had caught my eye.

"Here, turn your hands and keep them close to your jaw instead of the neck..." I followed him intently. "...no...wait."

He came up to me guiding my hands in the correct place, his hands trailing down my jaw as he did. His eyes were locked onto mine but I tried keeping my attention to the step he was supposed to be teaching me

"Up against your jaw...and you move your head back." He muttered.

Someone coughed and Jake took a step back flustered.

"Go ahead and try it." He said.

I nodded and tried it without seeing myself in the mirror. I looked back and forth between Niki and Jake. But for some reason they just stared at me. Everyone did.

"What's wrong? Was it that bad?" I chuckled embarrassingly

"No no. It was really good." Sunghoon looked red for some reason. He excused himself and went inside.

Jake joined our dance class giving me various inputs while sitting with Sunoo and Jungwon.

Time passed and Jay called us for lunch. I did not realize it was 2 30 PM already. We all rushed to the other room chattering about various things.

Jay had already set the table. I helped him with serving despite his threats. But someone was missing.

"Where's Heeseung?" I asked in general.

"Aah that guy is still sleeping. He won't wake up." Jake groaned.

Shock would be an understatement.

"He's still sleeping?! It's almost past the lunch time!" I said.

"He must've played video games the whole night." Sunoo sulked. "We asked him if we could join but he drove us out."

"Wow. I'll wake him up. Where is he?" I asked Jay.

Jay's eyes widened. "Lee, you don't have to. The maknes will-" He started, but I cut him off.

"It's okay Jay. Everyone has started eating amd you've been working since I came. I'll get him." I put the rest of the dishes down on the table and went out of the room to find Heeseung. I've been to the two rooms since morning and only the last one was left.

I put in the lock that Sunoo had made me memorize last time but I never used it before. The door opened and I went to the bedroom. The door seemed to be locked so I knocked twice. There was no sound or movement.
