The air was absolutely freezing. Cold wind blew around my face making puffs of white fog leave my mouth. Winters were my favorite. And going out in the cold was something I missed a lot this year. With my college already done, I didn't have the chance to travel early in the morning. Because if you're not freezing at 6 AM due to the cold air from the bus window, are you even enjoying traveling?

It was currently 5:30 AM. We were going to Ethipothala Falls, a hilly tourist destination with lakes, rivers, and waterfalls. The reason we were up and almost ready to leave was because it took about 4 hours of road travel to reach there. And to my surprise, everyone was sulking and not just the maknaes. They were not ready to leave the bed earlier.

When my alarm started ringing at 4 AM. Jungwon had literally held me down on the bed saying he was canceling the plan. And trust me, when I was that groggy and so comfortable between him and Sunoo, I didn't even realize I had fallen asleep again. Not until, Jay banged on the door telling us we were late.

That's all it took for me to jump straight out of bed and almost tripping over the doormat in front of the bathroom. It was 4:45 AM. I had woken up both the boys before rushing things up. But when I came out, I found Jungwon half out of the bed and Sunoo on the floor. Both still completely knocked out.

Well, that just led to Sunghoon and Jake running inside the room when they heard Jungwon screaming that he was a good boy. In my defense, it wasn't my fault he saw a horror movie and got scared of my hair.

"I told you not to watch Aparichit, you idiot!" I scolded a then sleepy and very frightened cat on the floor.

Then I turned to Sunoo who was half under the bed to hide from me.

"Sunoo, get your ass inside the bathroom we have half an hour before we leave."

Jungwon sulked the whole time he waited for Sunoo to come out. Making crying faces because I scared and scolded him first thing in the morning. And that I wasn't paying attention to him because I was busy getting ready.

I had my soft brown cargo pants on with a white top that zipped down the collar, which mostly reminded me of a biker's fit. The top was short-sleeved so I grabbed my floral jacket to go with it. Pretty contrasting if you ask me. But I had no option in the cold. My hair was still wet so I left it open to air dry.

The van was about to arrive in 15 minutes and Jungwon wouldn't stop clinging to me.

"Wonnie, we're late. There's no time!"

I tried to push him away but he almost slumped on my back burying his face in my shoulder.

"No. You smell nice. Do we have to go? Can't we get back to bed?" He murmured.

"No, we can't. Now get up and pick out your clothes before Sunoo comes."

But nothing could've prepared me to see Jay barging in. I was in the process of pushing Jungwon away, who was trying his level best to persuade me to get back in bed with him. But that didn't faze him at all.

"Please get Niki up for me. I'm fucking tired of him. He locked the door!"

It was hard to keep the laughter in. I rarely saw Jay whine like that. But I could see he was actually tired.

"I will if you..." I didn't need to finish the sentence at all.

Jay grabbed Jungwon's collar and kicked him inside the bathroom as soon as Sunoo came out.

"Get out in 5 minutes or else we'll leave without you!" He yelled at the door.

I went to the other room but to both my and Jay's surprise, Sunghoon was getting ready with Niki nowhere to be found.
