When Sunoo went inside, Leah was already asleep. She held onto Sunghoon's hand as if she was scared that he would disappear. Sunghoon sat by her side staring into the place while his thumb flicked over her hand.
Sunoo walked over to the bed and sat down on the other side. He brushed his hand over the side of her face. She looked so normal and peaceful while sleeping.
"Injection..." Sunghoon said without being asked.
Sunoo nodded. He propped himself on his elbows beside her. Sunghoon was quiet as well, leaving Sunoo to delve into his thoughts.
He had always thought the only problem they'd have to face after the concert was to convince Leah to come with them. But now that thought seemed too far-fetched. The future didn't look so clear now. He was clueless about what to do.
Please get up. Get up and smile at me like you used to. Poke my cheeks and call me your squishy teddy bear. I'll give you anything you want if you fulfill this wish of mine...
Sunoo leaned over her and placed a little kiss on her hairline.
"What should we do now." He asked Sunghoon.
Sunghoon didn't even move or look at Sunoo.
"I don't know." He said flatly.
"I wish we had asked her to remain backstage with the rest of the staff." Sunoo muttered.
Sunghoon's eyes flickered at bit. "I wish we had killed those two outright instead of firing them."
"You've gone crazy like Jay Hyung." Sunoo shook his head.
"Maybe. Though I wouldn't have said all that." Sunghoon finally looked at Sunoo. "Tell me that you haven't."
"I don't know. I...still can't get all this in my head." Sunoo confessed.
"I was surprised that it wasn't you who bashed that guy's head or something." Sunghoon said.
Sunoo averted his eyes and looked at Leah. He completely laid down on the huge bed. Shuffling closer to her, he hugged her lightly, keeping in mind her injuries. He chose to stay quiet for a while.
"I don't think I'm that far along." He muttered quietly. "I don't want to be either. Imagine if I ever snapped at her for any reason. I don't think I could forgive myself."

Leah stared blankly at the wheelchair in front of her. The cold metal was exactly what she had seen in movies. She had always pitied wheelchair users. Now she was going to be one of them.
"Are you fucking serious?" Sunghoon asked furiously. "A wheelchair?!"
The nurses looked at each other, not knowing what to do or say.
"Is there nothing else?" Heeseung asked.
"Her wrist is broken as well. She can't handle crutches. And there's nothing else here that would suit her needs." The nurse explained.
Heeseung pushed his hair back in frustration. He could see well enough that Leah was getting sadder with each passing second. She didn't want a wheelchair. And he wasn't sure if he could handle seeing her on one either. But then he couldn't take away her mobility.
Fuck.
"It's okay, love. You don't have to use that." Sunghoon said. "We'll figure something else."
He patted her shoulder. "We'll be right back okay?"
Leah nodded, grateful that she didn't have to use the wheelchair. She leaned onto Sunoo's shoulder and watched the nurses take it away. Sunoo gently massaged her head and whispered sweet little nothings into her ear.
