Heeseung stood there. His chest felt really tight. He had been right outside the door since the moment everyone went in. He wanted to go, too. But he didn't have the courage to face her. So he just heard their voices.

He heard her yell at Jay. He heard her snap at Sunghoon. He heard her crying because they had stayed quiet.

With each passing moment, her words pierced his heart. He wanted to throw the door open and tell her that she's wrong. That he does love her, and she was not a game to him. But he had lost that right. She was crying because the rest hadn't intervened at all.

But what about him? He was the reason for everything. It was his words and not theirs. When he thought back at the moment, his own memories felt foreign to him. The words he had used couldn't have been his at all, right? Now and even before that day, he had never ever thought of something like this.

Then how the fuck did they spill out of his mouth? He had destroyed whatever they had built within 5 minutes. So much that he couldn't even look at her in the eye and say that it was never in his mind to begin with.

All resolutions and promises he had made to himself to always stay close to her, take care of her were a waste. But he could at least thank Jay, Niki, Sunghoon and Sunoo for damage control. Hearing them made him even sadder.

Because of him, Jay didn't get to experience a better love confession. He had to do it in a hospital out of sheer desperation. Sunghoon and Sunoo were on the brink of going insane. And Heeseung believed that if Leah asked them to, they would actually act like her slaves. Everyone of them were suffering from the consequences of what he did.

There was silence for quite a while. And with each second, his anxiety was increasing. Did they fail? Was she not coming back? But then he heard Sunoo squealing. The tightness in his chest immediately loosened.

She must've accepted it, judging from the chaos that erupted from within. And a whole lot of his burden was gone with it. At least she wasn't leaving. Others weren't going to get punished because of him. More than he could ask for at the moment.

A lady appeared beside him and knocked on the door. A faint 'come in' echoed from the room and she opened the door. And Heeseung saw them. Jungwon and Niki hugging her from each side, Sunoo curled up in her lap, Jake, Sunghoon and Jay laughing and talking to her about something. He just got a glimpse of her face and he walked away.

He should've been there too. The eight of them were supposed to be together. But he was out here alone. Which was entirely his own fault.

His phone started vibrating in his pocket. He sighed and fished it out.

Sejin
Calling...

Heeseung clicked his tongue and picked it up.

"Hell-"

"Where the fuck are you all? Why is no one picking up?"

Heeseung clicked his tongue in frustration.

"We're out. An emergency came up." He said.

"What emergency will you people have here? I want all of you in the studio within half an hour."

The line went dead and Heeseung huffed in annoyance. He looked at the time. 5:30 PM. He texted Jay that he was going to meet the manager and left the building.
***************************

"Where are the others?" Sejin asked.

"They're a bit busy." Heeseung replied shortly.

"Busy doing what?! You guys have been slacking off for the past three days. We need to leave the day after tomorrow and you people are nowhere to be found!" Sejin yelled.
