Chapter 48

"Umm, what?" I asked them perplexed.

Niki, Jungwon and Heeseung had been staring at me for a good few seconds. It might not seem long when you think about it. But you will feel it when four pairs of eyes are lingering on you.

Heeseung cleared his throat. "Well, you look different today. That's why." And the two merely nodded.

I knew I looked different today. Knowing them, they would probably want to go to high-end stores. And you would not want to wear impressive or colorful in those stores. It needed to be somber and casual. If they wanted to go there, I needed to feel confident enough to step inside the place where I usually looked away from, much less browse through the aisles.

So I had on a flare trousers with my favorite 'professional' looking cream shirt. It wasn't over the top or something, just different from my usual style. And I loved this one because the high waist made me look lot taller than I was. And I lacked pretty much in that department with my height of 5'3. To aide that, I wore heels after a long time. It was a black wedge heel that gave me enough height to look 5'7. Also I opted for a wavy hairstyle instead of curly so my hair cascaded down an inch or two from my shoulders.

"Thank you Hee. I hope it was a compliment." I smiled.

"Ofcourse it was! You look pretty." He blurted out. And the maknaes nodded their heads furiously making me laugh.

We were standing in the living room and waiting for the others.

"Okay. So tell me first what do you want? Any specific clothing or just tourist browsing?" I asked them.

"Just Hoodies and Such things. Nothing specific though." Jungwon said.

The door to the room opened and the rest four spilled in.

"My Leeeee!" Sunoo ran to me and pulled me into a hug. "Do you know how much I missed you yesterday? You went home so early!"

"Morning Sunoo." I laughed and poked his cheek. I noticed the other three staring as well. And I wanted to break into a smile so bad.

Jay visibly looked up and down at me, like I was being scrutinized.

"Do I have the fashionista's approval?" I asked him jokingly.

Jay laughed. "You always did. But you look good today." He gave me a thumbs up and did a fist bump in the air as a sign of victory.

"Ofcourse my Lee is the prettiest." Sunoo literally shook his body like a little duck.

"I wonder why only Sunoo gets those cute hugs." Jake pouted. I chuckled at the very obvious demand for a hug. I called him over but Sunoo refused to let go. He shielded me away from Jake entirely.

"No hyung, only I get the cute hugs." He stuck his tongue out at Jake. Everyone started laughing at Jake's offended face. Everyone except one. Sunghoon. He hadn't even looked at me the whole time since he came in. I sighed internally. He was still angry over something I couldn't do anything about.

I turned my attention to Jay.

"So, do you have a place in mind, Jay? Anywhere anyone wanted to go to?"

Everyone shook their heads.

"Ok then. I'd say we directly go to the mall I know. You'll definitely like it."

When I stepped out of the room, I saw Jake looking at his phone. I went over and gave him a side hug.

"There. Your hug." I smiled at him. When he recovered from the initial shock of it. He laughed and pulled me in for another hug. I heard a gasp from Sunoo who faked a chest pain. I smiled at Jake and went to Sunoo to boop his nose.
