I had been pacing around my room for almost half an hour now. My mind was in a frenzy of thoughts. Jungwon said that they wanted to go to the wonderland. It's not a tourist destination, but why do I care. And I obviously said yes. I still can't wrap my mind around the fact that it's the same jungwon Shireen obsesses over. The same Jungwon who I loved at first sight in Iland after before I even saw Heeseung. I ran a hand through my frizzy hair and wished it would settle down well the next time I see them. But that wasn't important right now. It was my parents. More specifically, it was my mother. My father rarely said no to me when I asked for permission. I needed to convince my mother to let me go out with exams right around the corner. Tomorrow would be the best day to go, as the boys wanted to lounge around today. I make my best efforts on looking stressed in front of my mother. Face palming whenever I saw my phone and telling her random things about how some topics weren't going well and teachers weren't available to solve my doubts. She looked worried the whole time, asking if she should call the college to interrogate. And I secretly felt happy that my plan was working.

It was 11 AM, and I was going on a costing marathon, trying to absorb as many concepts as I could. I was sitting on the first bench. It was an unsaid rule among my classmates that they're not supposed to sit here. My place had a huge window overlooking the mini forest beside the college. My class on the 6th floor gave a clear view to the lush Greenland that was spread for a good area before it gave way to residential buildings. There were only 5 to 7 more people in the class preparing for the exam that was a month away. Our regular batch had about 200 students, and hardly 10 of them came to prepare in college. There was also no teacher present. The management left us to our own devices because they had done their part, that is, teaching.

A chorus of laughter rippled through the class and looked back in annoyance. Through the almost empty class where only the last benches were acquired were two of my friends, my classroom crush, and another girl roaring. They had been at it for a while now. I plugged in my headphones and drowned out the noise. I wasn't really in the mood for studying. Anticipation for tomorrow was clouding my brain. I stared out of the window. Seeing the peacocks resting on the huge boulders. A ping from my phone distracted me. And upon seeing the screen, my heart skipped a beat.

Sunoo

Hey Leah

R we on for tomorrow?

Me

Sunoo! I think so. I'm yet to ask my parents about it. But I'm positive that they'll agree.

Sunoo

Great! What are you doing, btw?

Me

I'm just sitting in class. Staring at the forest.

Sunoo

Do you have a forest beside your college?

Me

A very small one. But yes. Feels really good.

Sunoo

Aaaaaah, I want to see it too.

Me

There's nothing special about it, though. It's just a regular one.

Sunoo

Stilllllll

I want to see it. I've really wanted to walk in a forest one day.

Me

That's literally what I always think when I see it. it must be really fun and peaceful to walk there alone.
