Everyone moved to the second store. Apparently there were somethings they wanted and they didn't like the items here.

At the end of that mini fashion show, I had stifled a laugh at their faces. No words were needed from them. I changed back into my clothes. And put all the dresses in the bin. The muffled conversation everyone was having was cut short with my arrival. They all got their baskets and Jay paid for it. Obviously duh. Taehyun and huening Kai literally wanted to him to adopt them.

On our way, I failed to stifle my gasp at the sight of a particular store.

"Crossword!"

I yelled and pointed wildly at the biggest bookstore in the mall. Some of them flinched at the suddenness of it. Everyone's attention went to the huge bookstore. I looked around wildly for Jay. And when I found him at the front of our little crowd, I ran to him.

"Jay, Jay, Jay can we pleaseeeeee go there?"

I forgot all my etiquette as I clutched his sleeve and bounced in my place like a 5 year old. I knew I was being shameless but I couldn't help it. The last time I was in bookstore, I couldn't get a single book because of Niki.

Jay had an amused smile on his face. He held my hand before steadying me in my feet.

"Whatever you want, Lee."

And what was enough for me. I practically dragged him with me to the section of newest arrivals. I saw everyone else exploring other sections too. I started browsing the section and immediately found something.

A curse for true love by Stephanie Garber.

This day was going better than I had imagined.

Everyone held a book or two in their hands. The covers were pretty but none prettier than the girl browsing the newest arrivals. Her eyes lit up when she saw something. She picked up the book, carefully touching the cover in awe. When she turned to Jay with a delightful smile, it wasn't just his heart that melted. It was everyone's. She could've straight up walked into the store and everyone would've followed her in. She could've pointed at a whole section and they would've bought all of it. But then they wouldn't have seen her child like aura break the surface.

"You want this one?" Jay asked her.

She nodded furiously. The book was the latest part of Once Upon a Broken Heart, released a few days ago. Her hand itched to look at the prize. She knew it was costly. But it was surely less than the dress Jay wanted to buy for her. One book won't hurt right?

Jay took it from her hands and gestured her to look for more. But she shook her head.

"Just this."

"Okay. I'll go to the counter, you go and browse with others." He said.

She nodded and skipped to the other boys. She found Jake and Heeseung in the romance section.

"Aww Jakey, you're into cute fake dating?" She asked him.

Jake looked startled at ny question. "Eh? No I'm not."

She pointed to the book in his hands.

The Love Hypothesis

His mouth formed an O in understanding and he put the book away.

"You read it?" He asked.

"I did. It was a time waste though. Not my type." She shook my head.

"Then which one is?" Heeseung asked.

"Nothing in this aisle." She pointed to the opposite section. "That's my zone."
