A few more days passed by. After our first trip to Wonderland, we actually went to the Science Museum this time. But it was a week day. I couldn't ask for permission again. So I resorted to not telling them. I stayed back at home telling my parents I wasn't able to concentrate well in college due to the construction noise nearby, and they readily agreed to let me study at home. My father even bought me snacks to eat while studying, and my mother gave me instructions that I need not do any household work and just study in peace. I felt really guilty the whole time. But I could cover this up by studying at night and not letting my preparation get affected.
It was Tuesday when we had planned to see the museums. No one was actually interested in the artifacts itself but wanted to enjoy the experience. So we had two museums on our list. Birla science museum and Salar Jung museum.
We first went for the Salar jung museum because it was closer to the boys' hotel. It was all about different cultures, archeology, and such. I had visited the place before, and it was honestly boring. But this time, not so much.
"Ah, and my relatives had such wall hangings in their house. They were that ancient." Niki said as he pointed at the historical hangings in display.
"Seriously, I've never seen such chopsticks in my life." Sunoo laughed.
"This hanbok reminds me of my grandmother." Jay wiped his tear.
It was more fun than ever because the boys had some or the other story to share with each item we passed by. We arrived there at 9 30 am. I had left my house 15 mins after my parents left for work. This time, it was Sunghoon and Jake sitting with me. Sunghoon was mostly quiet and added some comments here and there when Jake had kept me busy with his imitation skills of others. He took the risk of imitating Jay crying in Iland and was rewarded with a slap on his back by the said person who simply went back to his seat after doing so. Jake imitated Sunghoon's iconic pose, which led to sunghoon doing it himself, and I thanked God again that it blush wasn't evident on my skin.
Sunoo had connected his phone to the music system in the car, and we started doing some girl group dances as much as our surroundings allowed. Which was mostly the upper body. Even though I couldn't dance really well, no one noticed my nervousness. It all went down when sunoo and Niki started competing to earn the title of best dancer from me. Niki was really energetic and smooth in his choreo, and sunoo was...well, his expressions were the game changer. The final song to decide the winner was up and down by exid, and that did not look like what it was intended to with them moving their body up and down while sitting. I was shocked at what movements they were making. Jake put a hand in front of my face to block them, and Heeseung had reprimanded them and closed the game altogether. And those two couldn't understand the reason. When sunoo asked me what was wrong, I dared not laugh at his face. I just kept a hand on my mouth while looking down. Let's just say Jungwon had a great time teasing me about it. The atmosphere this time was much better than last time, with everyone joining in the fun. I smiled at a memory from 2 days ago.
Sunoo and Niki had taken either of my side while leaving from the park, leaving a sulking cat behind with heeseung. And the latter couldn't be bothered with keeping Niki chained to him. These two boys were still very much lively after the long day at the park. Mimicking everyone's screams from each ride, getting glares and groans from everyone else. After what felt like hours, they both finally decided to shut up and rest for a while. I was looking out of the window at the forest connecting to the highway when I felt Sunoo lay his head in my shoulder, making my heart flutter. He was playing with the ring in my finger, twisting it and counting the number of stones in it. A few minutes later, he was snoring softly while still holding my hand. I allowed my head to rest rest against his and closed my eyes for some time, almost falling asleep. But then another head lay on my shoulder. Niki. But he went a step ahead. He engulfed me in a side hug. Coming closer with one hand behind me and another one in front, careful not to wake Sunoo up. My heart was beating like crazy. And why should it not? My two favorite idols were literally cuddling me in the car. I couldn't rest well. My mind too aware of them practically wrapped around me like a blanket.
I feel goosebumps on my skin again, remembering it. We were currently sitting near the clock tower. The whole yard of the museum was filled with people to see the old clock function. Every day at 12 p.m., a small elf like robot came out of the house built in the clock to ring the bell 12 times. It was a really cute sight. I couldn't see it the last time I came with my parents because we were so far away. And we were still far away. We could even get the chairs because it was all full and we were standing at the far end with some other people. My phone didn't even capture the clock because of the crowd in front of us. Niki held a camera in his hands, and it was an advantage since he was one of the tallest people there. The clock struck 12, and I lifted my phone up with Zoom in hopes of seeing something. Right when I was about to give up, someone stepped in of me. I was pretty annoyed at this point until this someone put his hands on my waist and lifted me up with ease. I gasped at the action and held the person's shoulder involuntarily.
Sunghoon's face peered up at me with a small smile playing on his face.
"Quick. You're quite heavy." He said. Well, he wasn't wrong.
I did not realize all this happened in a few seconds because the cute elf was just in his 3rd ring. I raised my phone again and almost laughed at the people staring at me in shock. The view was so clear this way. But I couldn't concentrate on it. I was all too aware of sunghoon's tight grip on me. His slow breath on my stomach made me shiver. I rounded my hands behind my neck for better support and he let out a harsh breath. I tried to look unnerved and concentrated on the video I was taking. When it was over, sunghoon slowly slid me back down, our eyes on each other the whole time. The second I touched the ground, I excused myself to the restroom, painfully aware of the 6 other stares on my back.
I shut the door of the restroom behind me. There was no one in there, which was a relief. My mind was blank for a minute. I did not know what to think. I remembered Sunghoon's face. His eyes trained on mine. A ghost of his breath on my belly. I saw myself in the mirror. My face did not give away my feelings. I fought the urge to run my hands through my hair. For some reason, I had failed to take note of the change in the atmosphere out there, which was pretty evident now if I thought of the boys again. Why were they doing this? First Niki, then jungwon, sunoo and now sunghoon. They knew I was a fan, and I would respond to them if they took a step forward. Which I was sure I would. And that's the reason why I was more scared. I was starting to like them more than an idol, and I needed to place boundaries. But the question was, will my heart and body listen to my brain?
Hehe. This made me blush even while writing. welcome the entry of moments like these. They're gonna come often. And I bet you people are not ready for the next chapter. See ya folks.
