Before you read
1. This chapter contains elements of gore and violence that might be unsettling to some readers. The warning will be given right before it starts. If you feel uncomfortable with it, skip to the very end. A summary of the events after the warning tag will be available before the author's note.
2. After the warning, the narrative is divided into three sections. All of them take place simultaneously. So dialogue and some events overlap.
3. There are two musical themes recommended. Both at different times. Cue them up before starting if you want to. When one starts and ends will be mentioned.

(Love wins all by IU)
Run away from the world, run on
Go to the end with me, my lover
Will it be a bad ending for us two, gone astray? The arena was lit with pink. The fans waved their light sticks in the air. They remained quiet, hearing the soothing voice.
Heeseung stood on the high rise platform as he sang. He confidently belted all the high notes and poured as much raw emotion into it as he could.
Crush me in your arms. Give me a lovelier kiss, lover
Love is all, love is all. Love, love, love, love.Three months ago, he wouldn't have imagined that a song he liked because of its melody would resonate in his heart. Not only this but so many other songs. His passion for mere vocals and melodies seemed distant. What was a singer who didn't feel the music in a deeper level? No matter how pitch perfect you are, the true sense of satisfaction is when you dive into the song.
The crowd cheered when the music stopped. He gave a kiss to the camera and relished in the squeals from his audience. But he was more focused on something else. This song wasn't in the setlist. So he was giddy with the thought of seeing Leah's face. She must've liked it. From this height, she wasn't visible to him. But he was sure she would have a huge smile on her face when he sees her.
He waited as the platform went down. The rest six were walking to the front for their final act. The last performance was an addition as well. A fan service segment that the management had approved off.
They were going to pick a fan from the audience and sing to her. And whom they were going to pick, was clearly evident.
"Engenes make some noise!" Jay yelled.
The arena roared with life.
"That's so feeble. Let's try again. Make some fucking noise!" Sunghoon yelled again.
This time, the crowd went wild. They held up there banners and light sticks and screamed.
"Are you ready for the final act?" Jungwon asked.
The crowd cheered.
"Do you want to know what it is?" He asked.
Heeseung chuckled at the audience. He searched for Leah's face in her section. He was so looking forward to see her reaction when they called her up on the stage. He was hiding a grin. She was so going to scold the shit out of them later. But it was going to be worth it.
Still buzzing with adrenaline, Heeseung bounced in his place as he discreetly looked over at Leah's seat. But his excitement fizzled away when he found it empty. Heeseung's smile slowly turned into a frown as his eyes scanned over the entire section. Wasn't she supposed to be in the front? But she wasn't there.
