I sighed. Another project that was going to grovel her awake at nights. The only thing I could do at times like these was wish her all the best and stay quiet until her project was done.

Well I had already eaten the chocolates the previous day. That was amazing. I was back to my place in college with my laptop. There were even fewer students from the last time I was here. Just me, Aditya, zeenat and another girl to the far corner. Cold winter air spilled through the window. How I wish I could go to that forest in a weather like this. I scrolled through the youtube class having been bored of continuous lectures. And something caught my eye.

38th Golden Disk Awards Enhypen.

Sunghoon was in the cover along with a group shot. I clicked on it without thinking and cleared my table of my books to concentrate only on the performance. The stage was bloody huge and had a dark theme to it. Perfect if you ask me.

A smile broke out from me when I saw Heeseung walking towards the camera before taking his position with others. Even Heeseung's walk was enough to make me giddy. And it still did. The only difference was that my bias now called me princess. I had known him now in more ways a person might think of at first.

They were my idols after all. My favorite group. And I was going to be an engene no matter how close we were. Sunoo and Niki wrecked me in a 3 second segment. That cute bubbly fox boy could literally sell his duality without ever running out of it.

I was ready to scream internally for Fate. And I did scream, because the vocals of the song never came. They performed Bite Me after that. My eyes were glued to the screen. Bite me was my absolute favorite performance. But turned out I screamed internally even for this song. There were no backup dancers. The choreo without them wasn't bad. But once you have a diamond, you'll never want something else. And they were singing live too!

I paused the video. Heeseung, the man you are. How did you manage to make a normal stretch of your neck look so hot. My mouth fell open at the dance break. Yo Jay you didn't have to kill me with that smirk. And I audibly gasped at that one footwork. I rewinded it eight times to observe each member do that step. There was a reason, Jungwon was the center in this segment. I think a lot of it had to do with the camera move too. I was on the edge the whole time. But sweet venom sent me into absolute frenzy. They looked so good. And the cameraman was surely Niki biased. It was the first engypen content I had watched after meeting them. And my fangirl mode would take a while to switch off. I was definitely going to be nervous when I see them later. Jay specifically wrecked me this time. That hair looked absolutely gorgeous on him. I should tell him that a new favorite color and style of his has been added to my list.

They looked worried about their manager. But now sitting here, I wasn't that troubled. I wasn't a fool to not have seen their fondness over me. My only concern was the manager knowing that I had made out with three of them. And almost did with the fourth. That would be the biggest problem. They might forbid me from seeing the boys any further. But there was no way for them to know. Unless the rooms had hidden cameras or something. But I trusted the boys to take care of the matter.

The room was quiet for the most part. Except for the occasional murmuring among the staff. Sejin was seated on the couch. Jungwon and Heeseung are on opposite sides of him. The rest of the boys scattered in the room.

"So she's your friend now?" He asked the two boys. They nodded firmly.

"Why did you not mention this earlier?" He asked again.

"She only acted as our tour guide in the start. We thought it might be better if we had a local guiding us. It wasn't really a big deal then." Jungwon said.

"But now it is."

He stayed quiet for a while.

"It seems like she has done her job well. You people are fine. But you should quit playing around now. It's about time you start practicing again." He said.

The room was tense. Sejin noticed Heeseung bouncing his leg continously. Something he did when he was agitated. Jungwon had his teeth clenched. He looked at Sunoo leaning on the wall behind Jungwon. He wasn't really blinking it seemed. His eyes trained on the floor. He could imagine that others had similar body language.

"She toured us earlier. Now she accompanies us as a friend. Let us see her. There's no harm in it. " Jungwon said finally.

"Basically our vacation is yet to end. We have 4 more days. And her being here wouldn't make us lazy or something to not practice." Heeseung added.

"Also, she's a keen observer. She can evaluate our practices through a fan's eyes. And look after us between the practice." Niki spoke in between.

Normally, he stayed out of matters that were discussed between the leader or the eldest. And that's why his comment surprised Sejin. Everyone agreed with Niki.

"If you say you don't want her to disturb our practice. She'll study in our room instead until we come back. Just let her stay with us." Sunghoon backed up.

Now he was curious to who this girl was. Sejin could see how protective they were over her. They never behaved like this for anyone else. Did they like her? All of them that too? Sejin scoffed at his own thoughts. Impossible. These people could never genuinely like someone. He had been with them since their debut. He knew they did not form relationships that easily. They weren't capable of it. It had always worked out in his favor. Until now. He was going to test their reaction.

"Did any of you sleep with her? Is that a reason for you to want her here? A stress release?"

The room went cold. The staff murmured among themselves. Jay closed his eyes to calm himself down. He liked hooking up random girls. And sejin knew that.

"Leah isn't a random girl to hook up with." He said sternly.

"You're kind of insulting her now. And you don't even know her."

Heeseung's voice was soft. But the members knew he had wrapped up all his anger in a sweet box. No matter what Leah and any of them did behind the closed doors, no one could talk about her like that.

Jungwon bit the inside of his cheek to stop himself from biting back at Sejin. Whatever happened or happens between them was their personal matter. And he couldn't bare listening to Sejin ask this question in front of everyone. No one could. It was painting Leah in a bad light. But it looked like Sejin was coming in terms with this. He couldn't disrupt it. Finally, Sejin cleared his throat.

"Fine. Ask her to come see me. You can keep her around if I approve of her."

The boys were happy with this. They would keep Leah around in any way. But it would be better if she got on the good side of Sejin and the other staff. And they trusted her to win Sejin over.

"Call her tomorrow. We'll talk later about this."
