I was a rank holder. Not just the top 50. Or the top 25. I was in the top 10.

6th rank.

I placed 6th among lakhs of students all over the country. Something I hadn't even dreamed of. Was I even deserving of this? When all I did was screw around with my now seven boyfriends instead of studying properly like everyone? How did I even surpass people who studied 15 hours a day while I slacked my days off with my idols?

Surely this must be a mistake. The longer I stared at the screen, at my name on top, the more it felt like a dream. Dating idols wasn't the wildest dream I ever had. It was getting a rank.

Passing was the only goal of everyone in our class. Dreaming of ranks was reserved for people who regularly scored 45 out of 50 on tests. Meaning- no one. I achieved something I didn't even want.

The phone was gone out of my hands and there were multiple gasps in the room. I covered my face as I cried. I didn't try to stop, no. These were happy tears. And I wanted to let these wash away all the bad things from my mind. Passing was supposed to be a step forward towards my dream career. But now? I feel like I could sprint...fly.

Someone wiped my tears away. Through blurry eyes, I saw Jake in front of me. He nodded gently and patted my head.

"Our little scholar," He whispered. "I'm so proud of you, my darling. So, so, so fucking proud of you."

"AIR, Jake." I said with an unsteady voice.

"Six." He nodded. "You did it. You not only passed, you passed with a rocket attached to you."

I laughed loudly and hugged him. He gave me a chaste kiss. And backed away only for Sunghoon to take his place.

"Congratulations, my lovely genius." He booped my nose. "As if being the most educated out of all of us wasn't enough, now you've shot up straight to the top of the whole country."

I giggled at his wording and accepted his little kiss. His nose scrunched in joy and his vampiry smile made me blush more than his kiss.

"Let's welcome another title in the list for Leah Thomas-" Jungwon said loudly.

"-Enhypen's girlfriend-"

"Spice Queen-" Niki chimed in. I chuckled remembering that incident.

"The most beautiful girl in the whole world-" Heeseung nudged me happily, causing me to cover my embarrassed smile.

"And now...AIR 6." Jungwon said loudly.

"That means..." Sunoo looked at Jungwon and Niki.

And the three of them said together. "Our Finance Queen!"

Everyone started clapping. I was so embarrassed I could melt into a puddle. But I was also happy. Not just happy, ecstatic.

"I'm going to brag to everyone that my girlfriend is a genius." Niki pumped his fist in the air. "Oh hang on."

He pulled out his phone and started dialing someone.

"Who are you calling?" I asked him.

"My mother." He said excitedly.

"What?!" I screeched. "Why?"

"To brag." He winked at me.

"What- you- you told your mother about us?" I asked in disbelief.

"Of course I did!" He looked a bit offended.

"But- but you, Niki-"

"Let him talk, my Lee." Sunoo snickered. "For someone who never went to school, surely his mother would be happy to have a scholarly daughter-in-law."
