Chapter 8

Jay and heeseung were so angry that the rest stayed out of their sight. Heeseung wanted to throw and break something and Jay just sat there on a bench staring into nothing but snapping at everyone who made the slightest noise. Jungwon was walking continuously since the past hour. Sunghoon was consoling a crying Sunoo who thought it was his fault for leaving Niki alone to get his ice cream. Jake was continuously calling everyone to get more information. The staff that had arrived with them had gone to file a missing person complaint.

"If only I had took him with me to the stall..." Sunoo sobbed.

"You did not. So now shut up and let me think." Jay said slowly.

Sunghoon took Sunoo to another bench separate than others to calm him down.

Everyone was sacred. Did someone take him? Did a sasaeng make use of the golden opportunity? The boys wanted to hope for the best. They were in a nearby park in case Niki had willingly gone somewhere and comes back. It had been 2 hours without a trace of Niki and his phone was switched off. Heeseung felt like he had failed everyone by not taking care of his team mates. If only he had told everyone to be in a group instead of pairs or trios.

"HYUNG"

Everyone snapped towards the voice seeing Niki running towards them. Jay stood up first and ran to the youngest checking him for any injury and everyone followed suite.

"Where Were you?"

"Are you ok?"

And similar questions drowned out Niki's voice.

"HYUNGS! I'm fine. I got lost and my battery someone stole my phone." He explained to everyone.

He turned around looking for someone behind him. Leah was standing far away from them, contemplating whether or not to leave. She really wanted to meet Enhypen but now wasn't the time to fangirl. But all of them were in black mask and caps and she found that absolutely hot. She could clearly make out each member. Each of their eyes glistening with tears. She gulped when 7 pairs of eyes shifted towards her. Niki took 3 long strides, grabbed her by the hand and pulled her to the group.

"Hyungs, this is Leah. She helped me a lot today. Fought off some goons who were harassing me and bought me here safely without anyone recognizing me." He grinned ear to ear.

Heeseung stepped forward. And Leah knew that everyone could hear how fast her heart was beating. Lee Heeseung, her ultimate hot bias, in front of her, with his sole attention on her. She felt like she would faint any second now. Heeseung came and held her left hand with his both and Leah sucked in a huge breath.

"We will forever be indebted to you, Leah. You bought him back safely. I don't want to think about what could've happened." He whispered the last part.

Leah's voice was stuck in her throat and her hands started shaking with this close proximity, which Niki thankfully noticed.

"Heeseung Hyung, she'll get a heart attack if you do that." He said and patted Heeseung's shoulder. Heeseung quickly left her hand and apologized to Leah for his rash action.

She wanted to say that it wasn't uncomfortable or something. But Niki beat her to a more embarrassing truth.

"Hyung, she's an engene and you're her bias." He laughed. I snapped at him with wide eyes.

"I did not tell you that." she said incredulously.

"Yeah you didn't. But your wallpaper told me." He snickered.

Multiple Oh's and laughter could be heard from the boys. Heeseung cleared his throat and smiled a bit. Backing a step and bowing a little.

"What, Why-" She asked putting her hands up.

"It is to show my gratitude for taking care of Niki in our absence." He smiled and it gave her a million butterflies. She looked at his feet and muttered an 'Its okay'.

As much as Leah wanted to shake their hands and take a picture, she knew that they had gone through a really tough day. Even though there was no possibility of meeting again, she did not want to be remembered as an annoying fan wanted fan service even when they were in a bad shape. So she buried her wish and smiled at them.

"Then I'll take my leave. I hope you have a nice time here." She said to the 6 boys. "And you-" she turned to Niki, who did not look that happy, "Learn something from your mistake and don't repeat it."

"Yes ma'am." He replied.

The boys also decided to leave right then and return back to hotel.

"Oh, we should tell the staff that Niki came back. They're about to file a complaint." Jake Rembered.

"Okay, I'll call the people in hotel, jake you call the one's who went to the police station, Heeseung and Sunghoon, call the company." Jay assigned everyone their task. And they got work.

Niki held Leah's hand and whispered "Just a second."

He went to Jungwon and asked for something. When he came back, Leah saw that I was a phone.

"Here" he handed it to her.

Leah was confused for a second until she saw the keypad open. She stared back and Niki and he had a finger on his lips, asking her stay quiet about it. "Go on."

Leah gulped and punched in her phone number with shaky hands. She gave back the unsaved number to Niki and he immediately saved it himself. He put a hand on her shoulder and bent down to her eye level, "I'll see you again, Noona."
