I was shaking all over. What if things had gone wrong? What if those people had made a grab at me? Those bystanders wouldn't have done anything anyway if something like that had happened. But now a new fear was creeping onto me. What if they follow me after I leave this place?! Shit. I should've thought it over before running to aid a stranger. I turned to look at the said stranger. He was walking 2 steps behind me. But holy shit he was tall. Almost 6 feet. My head was totally at his chest level. I wondered what his mother fed him. Now that I got a closer look at him, he looked like a scared puppy for some reason. Looking around wildly at any noise. He must be lost. From his dressing, he did not even look like he lived here. Face obscured with mask and cap, I couldn't make out his features to guess where he might be from. I stopped near the bus stand and gestured for him to sit. I wasn't going to get a sprain in my neck anytime soon.

He sat and looked anywhere but me. I scoffed internally when we were now at eye level with each other.

"Are you alone here?" I inquired.

He did not speak for some time. His eyes still trained at my shoes.

"Hello? I asked you something. What's wrong with you? You've been roaming here aimlessly for about an hour now. Jumping in front of the buses, picking fights with people."

He still did not answer but his eyes wandered nervously around him. Darting between my shoes to the girls around us. I grimaced at his action.

"I thought you needed help but turns out you're just a creep." I said and turned back to leave.

"No."

I turned back, too surprised at the deep voice.

"What no?" I asked.

"I'm not a creep." He said keeping his head down so I couldn't see his face anymore.

"Okay. If you say so. But if you don't need anything from me, I'd like to leave." I said again.

"I'm lost actually. I got separated from my friends." He said.

"Thought so. Do you know where your friends are?" I ask, softer this time.

"We were all visiting this place but I accidently came here." I murmured.

"Okay. And what place were you visiting?" I asked.

"I don't know the name. But it had 4 huge towers with a building kind of a thing in between." He said while thinking.

A 4 tower structure? I wracked my brain trying to figure it out.

"Are you a tourist?" I ask thoughtfully to which he nodded.

"Oh. I know what it was." I open my phone and show him a picture of Charminar.

He lifted his head up a bit to see the phone. Seeing the picture, he nodded with wide eyes and for the first time looked at me in the eye. My phone slipped from my hand but I was able to juggle it around and save it in time.

He jolted forward to see my phone was ok.

"Hey, are you ok? Did something happen to your phone?" He asked.

But I wasn't paying attention to his words. I stared. And I stared hard. I loved those games where you have guess an idol by a feature of their face. And this man, reminded me so much of Niki. Now he was staring at me back with wide eyes.

"wha-"

"You're pretty." I blurted out.

I slapped myself internally. Just because a tourist resembles Niki doesn't mean he is. He might be an east Asian and my mind is just playing tricks on me. And right now the said Asian's ears were red. Did my compliment do that?
