The atmosphere in the car was normal, fun even. It was like the last time. But this time it was me who shared my nonexistent stories.

"And then I got the punishment for slapping my friend even though I myself had a huge hand print on my face. The teacher didn't even bother to take a look at everyone else."

"What did she even expect on the slap day?"

"Exactly! And she scolded me to set an example for everyone else." I huffed. Even though this was years ago, I never forgave her for scolding me so bad in front of my crush in school.

"Music?" Heeseung asked me.

"Did I ever say no?"

He smiled and handed me the cord.

"I'll get you a taste of bollywood now."

I scrolled through my hindi playlists for a suitable song. And I nodded to myself. Akh Lad Jave started playing in the speakers and Heeseung had his full attention on the song. He bobbed his head along with the tune.

"Now I see what you mean by liking the song without knowing what it says. This shit sounds good."

The rest of the ride was filled with me singing along to the songs and Heeseung laughing and commenting on specific notes or tunes he found interesting. He had memorized the route to my house from last time. I didn't even know he paid that much attention. And it was the long route ofcourse. Not that I complained. Very soon, we were near the bus stop where I had last got down.

"Please let me get you home. Your parents aren't there right?" He said.

"They aren't. But my neighbors are, Hee." I lied again.

They wouldn't give a damn. But I did not want Heeseung in my home. If he came near my apartment, there was no way I wouldn't invite him in out of courtesy. But I was afraid this time my courtesy could lead to some big trouble. I was skeptical of the idea of us being alone in an enclosed space.

"I just don't like how empty the streets are." He said.

"It's not empty, Hee. People are still here and buses will still pass by."

He was still worried. But gave me a tight nod. But his expression shifted a bit.

"Princess, the last time you gave me a goodbye kiss. Will I not get it now?" I gulped. What should I do now?

Seeing my struggle, Heeseung titled his head.

"At least how you gave one to Jungwon."

I kissed Jungwon on the cheek. But the situation was different with him.

"No." I shook my head.

And for the first time, I saw Heeseung pout.
"Just on the cheek, pleaseeee."

I was flabbergasted. He was begging? And my stomach tumbled at the sight. Jungwon and I weren't official. A kiss on the cheek wouldn't hurt, right? If it made Heeseung happy. Right?

"Fine" I leaned toward him to peck his cheek.

But Heeseung moved his head at the last second and I met his lips instead of his cheek. He held my bottom lip between his teeth before I could pull away. His hand went to the back of my head before kissing me. I put my hands on his chest to push him away. But he did not let go.
