I had just gotten down on the first-floor landing when a loud creak echoed in the air.
Thud
Pain exploded in my head. I jolted forward with the force of something hitting me from behind. I hissed and clutched my head. I literally saw stars swimming in my vision. Someone put a hand on my head. I heard yelling and Someone cursing.
"Hey hey. It's fine. It's fine."
Aditya's face came infront of me. He pushed the iron gate away from us. The watchman apologized profusely. When the initial pain of the hit was gone, I blinked and stood up straighter. But the action sent another wave of pain to my head. I winced. Aditya led me down to the ground floor and the benches near the front gates. I sat down heavily on it.
"God damn those fuckers. Can't even see a whole person before closing the gate." He said in frustration.
Oh, I wanted to curse them very much. Because this pain was eventually going to waste my whole evening and night in a sweet migraine.
"I'm fine. It's not that bad." I said and rubbed my head. Oh, this was gonna swell up later.
"Leah? Adi? What happened?" I heard another voice.
I looked up a bit to see Vidyut standing behind Aditya with a concerned face. Upon hearing Aditya's explanation, Vidyut's eyes widened.
"Oh fuck, that's where the noise was from?" He bent down to my level. "Are you OK? Does it hurt that much?"
I slightly shook my head. "No. It's fine."
I opened my eyes and saw his face really close to mine. I instinctively jerked back and he muttered a sorry. Aditya put a hand on my head and pressed down a bit. I looked at him in surprise.
"I know you have migraine. And this helps a lot."
He said and pressed down harder. And to be honest, it did help a lot better than my own hand. It also cleared my mind well enough. I moved his hand away and stood up.
"Thanks, bro. It hurts a lot less." I said to him and turned to Vidyut. "And you too, for your concern."
Both of them looked skeptical.
"Are you sure? Can you travel alone? Or should I book an Uber?" Aditya asked me.
"Ah no. Thank you. I'll go by myself."
I said and nodded at both if them. They bid me goodbyes and I walked to the parking to find Heeseung.
But goodness this thing still hurts like hell.
I winced thinking of the oncoming headache later. Maybe if I slept immediately after I went to the hotel, I could alarm the boys a little less.
Reaching the parking, I furrowed my brows. Heeseung wasn't here. It was already past 5:20 PM. Did he not come yet? I looked around to make sure and decided to call him.
The number you're calling is currently...
He wasn't picking up. I rubbed my temple and tried again. He still wouldn't pick up. Where was he? I checked my messages. Nothing. Maybe he got busy with practice and forgot to text me he wasn't coming. Coming to this conclusion, I decided to book an Uber. If god wanted me to take a cab, who was I to say no?
**********************Anger. Blazing white hot Anger.
That was what simmered in Heeseung. His knuckles turned white with how hard he was gripping the steering wheel. He pressed his foot hard against the car floor and gritted his teeth as he stared the the scene in front of him.
