"She was with seven of them."

"Yep. Looked pretty close.

"Too close if you ask me."

"I even saw her disappear for a good while. Along with the white one."

"At least someone's having fun. We're stuck here."

"But some of those boys are really good looking. Like damn those foreigners."

"True. She definitely scored with them. I even saw two of them looking at women's clothes earlier."

"I wish I had someone like that."

"But still isn't seven a bit too much?"

"True, children these days."

It stung.

Because it was true. Where one turned heads and made people roll their eyes, two would raise eyebrows. Three would make them grimace. Four would make them look disgusted. Even if they're friends. Then five, six, seven? That would label her as a...

No. That's not true. Right? Or is it?

A hand fell on my shoulder, bringing me out of my thoughts. Sunghoon was standing behind me with a small smile.

"Shall we leave?" He asked.

I nodded and we made our way to the front of the store. I did notice him give the employee a long look. When we all came out of the store, Sunghoon took my wounded hand in his as we walked. When his fingers interlocked with mine, for the first time I noticed how small my hands were compared to his. Because his fingers were enough to cover the whole of my hand almost reaching my wrist. And he seemed to notice it too because he was trying hard not to smile.

Now none of them were holding any bags. When asked, they simply said it would all be delivered to the hotel. And here I was who didn't know these stores did such things.

We were going for the food court but at a really slow pace. Everyone was in awe seeing the traditional Indian Stores. Niki and Jake wanted to visit one really bad. So we made our way to the biggest festive store on the floor.

Mouths were hanging open the whole while as they pointed from one Kurta pajama, to a Sherwani and to a heavy Rajasthani Lehenga. Then came the designer lehengas and Sunoo immediately pointed to a heavy deep red one to me.

Each one of them started to pick one from the mannequins which was supposed to suit me the best. I swear I did not have the energy to argue with any of them again. But surprisingly, no one said anything and I sighed in relief when I thought they were just admiring. I started paying attention to the ones they pointed me at.

"My Lee, look at that deep red one! You'll look so pretty in that."

"Lee look at that light blue one.

"Behold, that black and gold one is the one for you."

"Nah that multiple brown shades one is the best."

"Seriously what's wrong with you guys? That pink one is the best."

"Muted greens compliment her the most though."

And I noticed a pattern in their selections. Niki and Jake pointed at dark colors with multiple shades. Jay was pointing at the satin plain ones that just looked expensive and elegant. And Heeseung, his were the most explicit ones. Ranging from lahenga with slits, deep V neck, backless blouses that could pass for bras. I sighed at his questionable choices.

"Now that's enough guys. Look around if you want something for yourselves." I said and they all agreed.
