Everyone rustled at her words. It wasn't privy that they wanted to speak but bit their tongue just for my sake.
"No. No, please. Bae, nothing like that will happen." I reasoned.
"Oh, but it will. And it will happen soon. Did you forget that all men are the same?" She said.
"No, they're not. I know them and they're good people!" I retorted.
"You only knew them through media! And now for a month. It's a matter of time before they pimp you out!"
"Shut up, Sania!" I said in a loud warning voice.
"I'm telling you this is the truth. Men don't love. They only corrupt. But you caught an exotic breed of them. These people who sell themselves on stage to millions only see you as they are. Fucking whores."
My brain went numb. I lost all my senses at the moment. The only thing I felt and saw was red. I did not even remember what exactly happened. Sanu's head whipped to the side as a slapping sound cracked the air. The gasps fell deaf in my ears.
I dug my fingers into her forearm as she stared at me, a hand covering her cheek.
"You've been calling me all kinds of names from that time and I'm standing here quietly. Because you have every right to talk shit about me. But. You. Will not. Insult them. Do you understand?" I seethed.
Getting no response from her, I tightened my grip on her arm. "Yes or no?"
Sanu wrenched her arm free from my grip and stepped back. She gave one look to everyone and back to me, before storming out of the room.

There was a deafening silence in the room. The boys watched in complete shock as Leah clicked her tongue. No one dared to step up to her. No one wanted to be on the receiving end of her look.
Leah breathed heavily, still reeling from the event that just took place. Her mind was still foggy. The rage she felt at hearing her best friend call the people she loved whores was sickening to the stomach.
Sell themselves on stage to millions.
Did Sania think her boys were prostitutes or something? They were performers. Talented musicians, dancers, and singers. And Sania made it sound like they were stripping on stage.
Heeseung wanted to tell her that everything would be fine. Jungwon wanted to comfort her and tell her she wasn't a slut. But no one dared to. Leah looked like a ticking time bomb ready to explode all over again.
Jay watched helplessly as she ran her fingers through her hair, clutching at the roots. Sunoo took the courage and stepped forward. If he couldn't calm her down now, what was the use of being her teddy bear?
"Baby..." He whispered and put an arm on her shoulder.
But she moved his hand off and walked to the fridge, leaving Sunoo dejected. She wrenched the door open and took out a few chocolates from the stack she had come to store in there. Popping off three into her mouth at once, she sat down on the couch. The coffee table in front of her shook vigorously as she shook her legs to calm herself down.
Seeing how everyone was hesitant to approach her, Jake took the charge. He considered it less likely that she would lash out at him. He went and sat down beside her. She did not move and stared at the coffee table with jaws locked.
He held her hand. She was going to push him away until she saw it was him. And for the first time, Jake felt relieved that he wasn't as close to her as the maknaes. She wouldn't act recklessly with him.
