"I can't believe I fell in love with a worthless whore."

The six boys sucked in sharp breaths. Disbelief painted their features as they stared at Heeseung. Silence fell in the room. A few seconds later, a few of them still kept their eyes on Heeseung. Because it was easier to let their anger build up. But it was nearly impossible to look at the girl standing there. Each of them was scared to see the very obvious heartbreak on the face of their beloved one.

But Heeseung saw it all. He saw everything in real-time. He saw how her eyes widened. Saw her face contort into an expression that made him feel sick to the stomach.

What had he done?

He wished he could turn back time. Even a few seconds would be enough. Heeseung felt numb himself. His body was frozen in place, mind dizzy. All the anger drained out of him leaving his brain empty. No thoughts processed well enough to think any further than one thing.

I messed up.

Her eyes moved frantically at her feet as she took a step back. By now, everyone had snapped out of their trance. Jungwon was at her side in a split second. He turned her away from Heeseung.

"Baby, it's not true." He said in a small voice.

She flinched away from him and his heart ached at the sight. Sunghoon was at her other side.

"He does not mean it, love. Please look at me." He pleaded.

He tried the same thing as Jungwon. He stroked her hair and looped his arms around her. With the way, she didn't respond to any of them, they all thought she was still in shock. But she abruptly pushed Sunghoon away with such force that he stumbled back.

"Leah!" He screamed after her running form.

But Jungwon had already taken off after her. Followed by Niki and Jake. They ran behind her with all their might. Leah's body was running on adrenaline. And for the first time, even Niki couldn't catch her. He ran like his life depended on it. Because in his mind, it did.

He saw the elevator doors starting to close and he pushed himself even more. But as soon as he saw her tear-streaked face, his legs faltered. And the door closed right before he could stop it.

He cursed loudly and looked at the other two. But Jungwon had already taken a sharp detour to the stairs. Jake and Niki followed him down. They ran down 7 flights of stairs to catch up with the elevator. When they finally stumbled onto the ground floor, they saw Leah speedily walking towards the main door.

Jungwon sped up towards her. He saw her bump into a few people. She wasn't running now. If he called her, would she give up the fight and come back to him?

"Leah?" Jake called out.

But she didn't stop.

"Leah, please wait."

Jungwon called out this time. It turned out to be a mistake. She didn't even turn back. But sprinted out of the hotel. People started to stop and stare at them. But nothing was more important than getting her.

No no. This can't be happening now.

Jungwon's thoughts were just as frantic as his movements were.

He could not lose her to a blunder he didn't even partake in. There was no way this night would end in such a disaster. But he did lose her. Niki fell to his knees beside him.

"Noona, please come back!"

Jake panted and tried to get Niki back up. But the younger boy's face was streaming with tears of his own.
