Chapter: 10 Arc: 4
The Wind Whistles Ever so Slowly..
Speed deceiving you as it sweeps the world above so gracefully..
Clouds amassing in full..
Their storms hiding the shadows..
Block out the only view of the Heavens..
For only those who remain in these fields..Shall be left as the only ones..
Who can..Never Dream..
...
Wind uplifting the smog from all the long gone destruction, fog began to roll in like giant plumes of dust, consuming all that was beneath it as one of the many final wells were now gone. The spike-like trees swayed side to side in the slow draft, their small thorn like plumes flying off in the breeze beyond all that was remaining. Everything was still as feet crunched in the long gone soil, the trio had made it past the explosion and at a slowed pace. Burrowed down in a semi-limp stride was the Marry controlled Whistèrïa, her fluffed hair swaying side to side along with her crooked walk as she seemed to grip her left arm tightly in what appeared to be intense pain. The overflowing purple hue having energy was coursing through her at an explosive rate, its charge being so bright it began to crack through her very skin.
Following not so far behind was the wretched man, his scarred and stained figure looming behind like a haunting shadow. His body ridden with the ever flowing lines of his own cursed strength constantly burned at him, the flame within keeping him going as for what it was worth if it wasn't for that then he'd have stopped long ago. "Nn-ngh..", Hissed out Whistèrïa in pain as she stumbled forward one more time and gripped her left arm as both arms were struck with such a haunting corrosion. Hijìn stopped a few steps behind her and faced down at her direction, his messy dirtied hair covering his eyes as he stood still near lifeless. "Nnnn..s-shit..", Whistèrïa whispered to herself in the silence of the undead as she looked ahead. Sweat rolling down her forehead as she heard a deep growling breath echo behind her, swiftly turning her head she'd simply look up at the man's looming figure haunting its frame before her.
Slowly turning back around, she winced in discomfort before jittering from a small short-circuit due to the overwhelming energy. Panting heavily as the very skin on her arm was gone, it seemed as if her very arms were made of the energy, as she uttered to herself: "H-Hold on..short yet steadfast body..w-we are going..T-to..accomplish our goal! Ngh!!" Her body nearly collapsing as she yelped in pain still panting heavily. Hijìn still hasn't moved the entire time, his frozen shadow covered gaze kept his entire face hidden from her as the clouds ever so rolling figure made nearly no light shine on him apart from his very strings stabbing at his body. The stress overwhelming her she took a step forward and froze in place again trying her best to push through, but as she pushed through she could feel a ever present draining feeling pull from behind her very soul.
It was like the wind itself began to flow behind her as she saw the spikes from trees whisk past her and in the direction of the man. Her exhale of desperation made her call out in her slightly masculine voice out to him: "H-Hijìn Please! I-I can't! I-I Can't! It's too Much! Please!" She pleaded as she let her head hang, the small fragments of her skin remaining slowly turning to ash and dissipating into nothing. Air slowly drafting by her ear she couldn't feel anything, nothing except the energy build up continue to ever so slowly course around her, the feeling was if she was at the brink of throwing up constantly, the swelling making it seem like everything she'd ever have was built up at the back of her throat..at any moment she'd burst..yet she had to push through. The annoyance of this man's pestilence eating at their minds as Whistèrïa beckoned out again at the man who simply loomed behind her like a zombie: "Could you at least say anything?! A word?! A feeling?! We Need It!! Anything! Just to get it over with!"
