Arthur Leywin
I fell through the sky, looking down at the thousands of asuras, my heart racing, wondering if this was something we could actually pull off. Could we kill all these asuras? I know Virion's force is strong, but still, was it strong enough to defeat these beings.
I looked around as I fell, Virion was already halfway there, he seemed to be going as fast as he could. I knew he would be fine, I didn't want him to come, but I knew I didn't have a choice, he was going to come either way, and to be honest, he should be here, his strength is unmatched, even against me most likely.
Kordri was at the same pace as me, not falling too fast, but we would end up down there soon enough. I didn't know how he would handle this sort of task, killing his fellow asuras. Would he accept it, or would he change his mind mid fight and end his life?
Cecilia was falling like Virion, she was far away, and most likely, she'll be causing the most damage. I was prepared to use aetheric blast, so I will be doing just as much damage, at least I think.
'Where's Sylvie?' Regis asked, and as he did, I looked around, feeling the dragons transforming below. He was right, I didn't see or sense her, she wasn't here for some reason. Did she not jump through, no, she did, I saw her, she did it at the same time as me.
'Sylvie!' I called out through my mental connection with her. 'Are you there?' I asked again, but nothing, there was no response, I didn't hear anything, only my thoughts, and Regis's voice as he responded to me.
'She's not here, I can't even sense her.' He said, and my eyes widened. 'Arthur, don't worry about it, you have other things to focus on right now.' Regis paused, and as he did, a dragon came rushing upwards, about a hundred yards from me. 'You fight, and I'll figure out what's going on, if you need me, just call out.'
I thought about it, and as much as it hurt to forget about Sylvie for a second, he was right. If I focused on her, trying to find her, I would most likely be killed by these gods, so I had to focus on what was right in front of me.
'Alright.' I said, pushing aether to my runes. 'Thank you, Regis, but for now, while you are doing that, I'll need your destruction in my sword. Can you do both?'
'Of course.' He said, and as I conjured an aether blade in my hand, it lit up with destruction. 'Now, go, I'll find her.'
I smiled as my mind began to go blank, I started to focus on what was heading my way, a battle with the gods of this world. I god stepped and met the dragon head on, my blade entered its chest, then exited through the side, drawing a massive amount of blood.
I heard it screech, then god stepped to the ground, through the air, appearing before two pantheons, bald and strong. Their eyes widened as I appeared before them, declaring the start of the battle.
My sword flashed at the neck of a pantheon, they back stepped, I god stepped to their side, and my blade entered their ribs, going in one end, then out the other, cutting him down. I snapped my head to the side, sensing the other pantheon looking at me.
Their fist came at my face, but missed as I side stepped it, then brought the destruction flamed sword up and sliced him across his chest. The flames ate at him, and eventually killed him as I turned to these weird beings, the ones known as sylphs.
I dodged a wind blade, then rolled under a punch, and as I god stepped to meet the sylph head on, I could feel golems, stone ones, forming all around me. It was the titan race, just like Wren's training, but now, they were using it in a serious combat situation.
