I slowly opened my eyes, feeling nothing, well, I shouldn't say that, I felt my body, it just wasn't in pain. 'You are welcome.' Hades said within my mind, sensing that I was awake. 'It took a couple of hours, but I healed you up.'
'Thanks.' I said, turning my head so that my mother was in my vision. She was talking to my father who was right next to her, but before I could say something, I felt hands wrap around me as I sat up.
"Veer!" Sylvie exclaimed as she hugged me, and as she did, everyone turned their attention towards me. Arthur, Tessia, and Ellie were also in the room, their eyes all on me. "You are awake."
"I am." I said, smiling as she backed away from me. "I'm assuming we are back in Taegrin Caelum, and no longer in the Relictombs fighting off against a bitch of a brother."
"Veer." My mother said hugging me now, and as she did, she spoke. "I'll let that one go, but watch your mouth." I laughed a little as she released me, but then grabbed my cheeks with both hands and pinched them, smiling brightly.
"Yes, Veer, it's over." Arthur spoke from my other side as my mother sat back down next to my father who grabbed my hand and squeezed it, smiling at the sight of me. "You did it, we are now at peace."
I didn't react, knowing that was the case, but I'll still admit that it was a breath of fresh air hearing that all I did payed off, and that I no longer needed to fight. I'll miss it, but it's okay, I can always have fun fighting clones.
"You don't need to fight anymore." Sylvie told me. "You can relax." I laughed a little, nodding my head. "I'm not joking."
"I know." I said, smiling back at her. "I just couldn't help myself." I shrugged, then turned my attention to Arthur. "I'll speak with a clone about the battle in Epheotus, not that it matters much, if we won, we won, but I need to know what happened to everyone that was transported to the Relictombs."
"Not now, you just got up." Arthur said, looking at me. "We can talk about it later." I teleported to my feet, and this caused them all to jump a little, right in front of the bed. "Veer, come on, like Sylvie said, you can rel--"
"Naa." I waved it off. "I don't need to rest in that bumpy bed, I rather figure everything out, get the info I wanted on who died, because right now, I still don't know exactly what all went down everywhere."
"Sit down, Veer." My mother said as they all sat up. "We ca--"
"I rather go up to my office or room and speak." I waved my hand and a portal opened up. "Come on, follow me." I stepped in and ended up in my office, inside was Melody and Cassandra who shot to their feet at the sight of me.
"Virion." They both said, walking up to me as my parents and the others came out of the portal behind me. "You shouldn't be up." Melody said smiling, knowing that I wasn't going to lay down. I hugged both of the elves as everyone made their way to the couch, Sylvie stayed by my side, walking with me.
"Tell me everything." I said, pretty much knowing everything, I just wanted to know who else died, I knew, but I needed to hear it from someone else. Sylvie grabbed my hand, squeezing it like I did something wrong, but as I looked at her, she shot me a look telling me to relax I would assume. "Sorry." I whispered to her as we took a seat together on the couch side by side. "Please, I need to hear it."
My mother said on my other side, placing a hand on my arm, smiling as Arthur spoke to me from the other couch he sat on with Tess and El. Melody and Cassandra took the single seated couches,
"Well, before that, there are some other things you should probably know about." Arthur said, then looked at Melody. "We set some other things up while you were out, you probably should let him ---"
