My Beginning After the End Termination

Debris built up from the spell and his collision, and as we stood there, we waited to see the result of the attack. "We need to kill him and find Virion." Sylvie told me through the debris. "He might be alone right now."

"I thought he was with you, but this must have happened before he could get to you." I said, now slightly worried about my brother. "Let's end this Regis." I felt aether building up, but as it did, the debris settled.

On his knees, bleeding out, was Cadell, but another figure appeared and my heart started to race a the sight. "It's okay, I'll heal you now." I knew who it was, I just didn't want to believe it. "Then we'll kill them for the sake of this world."

The figure was a lot smaller than Cadell, but as he was on his knees, she was above him. Her hand on his shoulder as aether flowed into his body from her abilities. She had white hair, gold ruins all over her body, and I knew instantly who she was even though I never saw her like this.

My heart started racing, aether went still within me, and the three of us froze as we just watched Cadell's wounds close, his injuries were still going to weaken him, but no more blood was rushing out of him.

I couldn't slow my heartbeat, it just continued to pound, and Sylvie, she didn't help, because she muttered one word that shook my world.

"Mom?"

I just stared in confusion, feeling my heartbeat continue to beat faster and faster as I took in the sight. I couldn't believe it, in front of us was Sylvia, the one who took care of me, who gave me Sylvie, she was back.

"Hello, darling." Sylvia said calmly as Cadell's wounds healed up. "It's lovely to see you, and I'm happy you found love in this timeline, but it needs to end." My eyes didn't leave her, and I could barely process her words. "Please, just allow us to kill you all."

"Mom?" Sylvie said questioningly, worried. "Why are you listening to fate? Why do this?" She paused for.a second, and as she stepped forward, I wanted to grab her arm, but I was still in shock from the sight. "Are you being mind controlled?"

"No, of course we aren't." She answered her daughter, her voice calming, yet confident in what she was doing. "We have been shown the future, this world will crumble apart if you all live within it, the timeline is unstable, and if you all don't die here, it'll continue to be that way."

No one said a word, I just stood there looking at her, Sylvie was tearing up, Cadell was smirking at me, but as Sylvia turned to me, I muttered. "Bullshit." I said softly, and as she gave me a confused look, I said it again. "Bullshit!"

"I know it's hard to believe, little one, but it's the truth." Sylvia told me. "If you don't die, we can't reset everything to make sure it ends up the way it should be." I felt the anger that was building up in me light up even more, spreading throughout my body. "Fate doesn't want you anymore, a soldier, a King, they don't want someone who isn't going to follow the way things need to be."

"Why?" I said out loud, not really asking an in depth question, my mind just raced with why the timeline is unstable. "No, no, no." Destruction lit up my body, covering every limb, everything, and the anger took control. "That doesn't make sense!"

"This is why." Sylvia said as Sylvie moved slightly to the side, looking at me with a worried expression, but that's for multiple reasons now. "You can't control your abilities, Virion shouldn't exist, this timeline is unstable and will shatter this world if we don't do anything about it."

"No!" I shouted again, the ground beneath me burnt to ash, and that's when Cadell stepped in front of Sylvie. "Fate is lying to you!" I conjured blades in both of my hands that lit up with destruction. "There's no way the world would be in danger because of us, this is all because it didn't get what it wanted!"
