She was running a hand through her bond's fur, he had a worried expression on his face, like he knew that punch almost killed her if she didn't block it like Taci said. "Here we go." Taci turned his attention to our side, I turned my head to see where he was looking at, and a figure stepped through.

My heart dropped, it seriously felt like all the blood in me fell out, and my heart went along with it. My expression was clearly one of shock, confusion, and fear, knowing this, this couldn't be a good thing.

"What?" The boy said with a grin on his face. "Don't like the horns?" He reached up and touched them. "I like them, the upgrade was needed, brother." I couldn't speak, it was too much, seeing him like this, knowing if he wanted to come here, he wanted to kill me.

"Lucas?" I finally muttered, staring at the blonde figure, a little older from the last time I saw him, right before he betrayed Dicathen, right before Arthur Leywin killed him. He had long black horns on the top of his head, and a dark potent aura to him.

"Yes, brother." He held his hand out, and a black spike shot out of the ground, but this one was different from the others I've seen, it had this black fire surrounding it. I managed to dodge it, then it hit me, soulfire, it seeped into my body, but I pushed it out, knowing too well what it'll do to me if I let it inside of my core.

"Focus." Eleanor said, stepping in front of us, taking charge as I just stared at my smiling brother. "We can't, we can't die here." She stuttered, breathing heavily, but other than that, she was at a hundred percent. "Wake up you two, focus on what is ahead of us."

I don't know if it matters.

"Brother, come on, you need this little child to protect you?" Lucas asked, waving his hands around, black fire covered them. "She has beautiful horns as well, but I doubt she is at my level." He smiled and fire and spikes shot out of the ground around him, poking up like a barricade.

Ellie did the same with mana crystals, they grew around her and she faced him, but that's when Taci laughed. "Hahaha." Ellie faced him as well as Aya released her sword and conjured another one, this one seemed to be a skinnier one. "I don't even need his help to kill you three weaklings, especially when you are in this state, so this is going to be quick with his help."

Ellie shot mana crystals out in all directions, like a wave, pushing Taci and Lucas back, then she conjured a mana barricade around us as Taci appeared behind the crystals. His fist hit the shield, shaking it, but Ellie kept it up.

A wave of mana hit the asura, knocking him backwards, then Lucas shot through her crystlas, shattering them with soulfire, I went to move, but my body didn't. Ellie kept the shield up, conjured another crystal into Lucas's chest, but he dodged it, then was forced into dodging an arrow as well.

Aya shot a wind blade from behind Ellie, and as it travelled to meet him, Taci appeared behind her. Ellie spun, her eyes going back and forth, trying to protect both of us from these two. A crystal shot up, Taci punched it, Lucas appeared, shot a spike through the shield, breaking the mana barricade around us.

Ellie released a powerful blast, and that's when Boo jumped in, weak, but as he appeared before Lucas, his paw slammed into his side, knocking him away from us. Taci shot around, dodging a spike and a wind blade, then his fist connected with Boo's stomach, knocking the wind out of him and sent him flying away from us.

Spikes grew with soulfire on them in our direction, Aya jumped out of the way, and Eleanor conjured a mana barricade to protect us from them. Ellie then looked up, and as I did as well, a large red fire ball was coming down on us.
