"Go on." I said to Raven and Ivy, hugging them both, feeling their sadness, but their happiness as well. "I'll see you two later, I'm so proud of the both of you, I hope you know that." They both smiled, and I could see a spark light up in Raven's eye, scaring even me.

"Okay, see you." Raven said, and two girls went with Melody who was going further up the stairs, I had already said my thanks to her, she had done so much, same with Cassandra, then again, I have done a lot for them as well.

"They really love you." Sylvie said as the four of us stood in the hallway. "They really helped out while you were gone, Raven, Ivy, Nithe, Gunnar, and Rosa, they were holding everything together, preparing the forces, without them, we would stand no chance."

"I know, I made them to do that." I told her, I was trying to be nice on how I spoke, but I was struggling a little at times, I think coming back from the dead has given me a migraine. "They are my children, I expect them to be like that."

"Are you ready to see mom and dad?" Arthur asked, changing the subject as we stood there. "They are going to be so excited to see you, they won't know what to do." I nodded, running a hand through my ashy-brown hair, touching my horns slightly.

"What was it like?" Ellie asked. "Being dead?" She was trying to be friendly, supposedly before I died, she said some harsh things to my clone, I have no recollection of that, but I was mean to her and everyone on purpose, so she didn't have to apologize and make up for it.

"Calm." I answered, speaking truthfully. "It was just calm, all the voices in my mind, they were silent, and I was able to enjoy myself." I could feel their eyes on me, a worried expression on their faces. "But I'm happy to be back."

There was no one in the hallway, I could feel everyone in their rooms, and right now, it seemed like everyone was here. I didn't feel the Lances though, or the Eraliths and Glayders, which surprised me, I thought after time they would request to come here, and I told Melody if that happened to bring them here.

"Let's just go and see mom and dad." Arthur said, and at the moment, my mind, it was so, it was so clear, the fog, it was gone, the blood shield around my brain no longer needed, it was nice. "They are probably in their room."

"They are." I told him. "I can feel them." Sylvie was still holding my arm, walking with me as we stepped closer. I started to concentrate on Taegrin Caelum, it appears Raven didn't do as I asked, Selena is still alive, I wonder if Arthur has been causing her trouble, making it harder for her to dispose of the Leviathan.

"I can't believe you defeated death." Ellie said out of the blue, I had no clue how I should respond to that, so I didn't. "I'm sorry, though, Veer, I know you said you don't remember what happened, but still, I'm sorry about how I treated you."

"Stop." I told her, annoyed. "There's no need for that shit, I don't want to hear an apology, not one more from anyone." She nodded, taken aback slightly by my tone, but I think they understood, at least Ellie and Arthur did, Sylvie was eyeing me up weirdly. 

Arthur grabbed the door handle and spoke. "We are just happy to see you again, Veer, in this state, not with you being a Devil to scare us, or to make us hate you." Arthur paused and added. "We love seeing you as our brother, and not an enemy but an ally."

"Yeah, yeah." I said, waving it off as he opened the door and I took the first steps into the room, inside my mother and father sat on the bed, talking to one another, but as their eyes turning my way, they shot to their feet. "Mother, father."
