Arthur Leywin
I reappeared back on the battlefield, anger lighting my sword, Agrona was dead, but we still had to finish this battle. Once we did, it was all over, no more war with asuras, no more wars with Alacryans, it was all over.
I was happy Virion listened to me, even if he wasn't going home, but was going to see Sylvie about something a little serious. As long as he wasn't here, going bloodthirsty like he would, I was okay with it.
Cecilia and I came back to the battle, but at different ends, I was tasked with killing and making sure everyone was okay. Virion had clones watching over the people, but he still wanted me to see.
I was god stepping all around the asuras, going towards a familiar mana signature, and as I got closer, the Lance, the Thunderlord, could be seen in the sky, beheading a dragon. I was slightly taken by surprise by the sight, he was a mess, but he had just killed a dragon, a god.
The spear in his hands, Taci's spear was dancing with electricity, and as he flew there in the midst of dragons and Wraiths fighting, thunder started to rain down on them, strikes so powerful that they shook the ground.
This was the integration phase, it changed everything, plus, his regalias he got from Veer, I heard they granted him a tremendous upgrade as well. I only knew of one of them, and as I was thinking about it, I saw him use it.
Bairon vanished, entering the stream of thunder, and traveling along it, becoming the thunder for a split second and teleporting to the ground, swinging his spear through a dragon, cutting it deeply.
He was injured, but it was clear to me that Bairon didn't care, he had something to prove or wanted to simply help in this battle. We had to build the death toll up, this was were they all where going to die.
I god stepped in front of him, beheading the dragon he was up against, surprising him a little. "Arthur!" He exclaimed. "You are back! Does that mean you did it? Everything went according to plan?"
"It does." I said with a smile on my face. "He's dead." I could see the happiness grow on his face. "It seems like things are going well here, you okay to fight on?" I knew I didn't need to wait for an answer, but I did anyways.
"Yes, I'm good." He replied, a look of determination on his face. "These wounds are nothing to me, and I think Virion's clones are healing me secretly, I've been feeling something as I fought." I nodded, he was probably right. "This one hurts, but I'm good."
He was referring to the wound on his chest, under his silver armor. There was a large cut that dug into his flesh, revealing a lot of blood, it wasn't a pretty sight, and to be honest, I was surprised he was standing, but that just shows the power of adrenaline and Virion's blood magic.
"Okay." I answered, looking at the wound one last time, then back to him. "If you get too hurt, I'm sure Virion will teleport you out, so there's no reason to worry, just don't go and throw your life around, the battle is one, there's no longer a need to risk your life as much."
"It's not won until every single one of them is dead." He told me, and he was right, but I don't think he got my point, which was fine, I suppose. "I suggest you check up on Chul and Aya, they were actually fighting a dragon together at one point, but I don't know anymore."
I nodded, looking at him, and then god stepped away, appearing away from the Lance, then I did it again and again, making my way to where I believed Aya to be. I was curious to see if she was doing okay.
I knew her regalias were powerful as well, and that when she got into integration stage they became even stronger, so I wonder if she is holding her own. I knew Chul would be able to, at least somewhat, with help around him he should be fine.
