My Beginning After the End Termination

Her whip shot out at me, but I side stepped it and started to glide alongside it, right at her, using mana to speed me up, going as fast as I could. I appeared by her, my fist going towards her face, water shooting up to meet it.

I stopped, spun and shot into the air, pushed mana out of me and watched as the beam shot through her water shield, then went back down. My fist connected with her face as the water fell on her, launching her across the shoreline, stopping the spells going on around us.

She rolled some more, then stopped, laying on the ground, I shot a beam of mana, trying to end it, but water shot out of her arms and deflected the attack away, giving her a second or two to dodge it.

Selena got to her feet, blood was on her lips from her nose and mouth, but the look she had has not changed. The anger, the determination, it was all there, she wanted me dead, and she wasn't going to leave her without killing me herself.

She truly loved Virion, and will do anything to keep him to herself...

However, I feel the same now, but for so many different reasons. I couldn't let her simply mind control Virion, or attempt to. She's been basically, I don't know, I wouldn't say assaulting him, but in a sense, she has been, and he doesn't even know it, or does and doesn't care.

I can't let her do it to the boy I love, so, for different reasons, I'll fight for him, I'll do whatever I can to take her down right here and now. I loved Virion, and if he was truly going to break up with her the other night, and she stopped him from doing it with her magic, then he loves me as well.

So, I guess I'm not just doing this for me to be with him, but for him in general, I needed to take her down, to set him free. This could be why he can't just settle down, I'm not sure if that's the case, but there is only one way to find out.

I went back to standing on the shoreline, right across from her, the angry Leviathan, yet determined. "I'm going to end this." I told her, snarling as I did. "Virion will never truly love you, and if I need to beat some sense into you, I will do just that."

"Please, show me what you can do." Selena said, water still dripping from her arm extensions. "You won't hit me again, dragon." She shot at me, swinging her arms to extend out and grab me, but they were blocked by mana shields.

I conjured a beam of mana, pushed it further, forcing her to dodge it, then shot forward myself, reinforcing my body with mana. I dodged her whip, then rolled under her other one, appearing in front of her.

I wasn't better than her in up close combat, but if I managed to land just one blow, then back away, it would change the outcome of this fight and end it quicker than it would if I stayed further away.

I appeared before her, my fist going towards her face, but she side stepped it, then went to grab me with her water hand, but a small mana barrier formed around my body, blocking her strike, and I conjured mana arrows behind her back, holding them there until the right moment.

I dodged another strike, then another, sent one towards her chest, but she dodged it, and I conjured a mana barrier to block a water scythe she redirected out of the ocean towards me, then felt her water fist strike me in the face, and as I fell backwards, I released the arrows.

"Hahhaa!" Selena laughed as she looked at me on the ground, her hand coming up, forming a water scythe, but as she was about to land the deciding blow, she spun to meet my arrows, but was unable to dodge them all in time.

I got to my feet as it was all happening, knowing that I had a second or two to get up, and as I flew back up in the sky, Selena stood there, water still dripping from her arms. I watched as she spun around, very slowly, and the holes in her body were clear to me even from up here.
