Arthur Leywin
"Huh." I sighed as I was breathing heavily, catching my breath. "I know, I've heard it over and over again, but I don't care, I'm going to kill you, I don't who you are, but that doesn't matter, your life is over."
"If you think you can defeat me in that state, Arthur Leywin, or Grey, you are welcome to try." Sylvia smirked at me, shaking her head. "But you can't, destruction has persuaded you to use up all your strength against Cadell, and now, you must pay for it with your life, and her's."
"We'll see about that." I said, looking at her with an annoyed, yet angry expression, trying to figure out why all of this was happening to me in here, Cadell, her, why are they back, and why is fate after us. "Sylvie, are, are you okay?"
"Are you?" Sylvie asked.
"No." I said, turning to her, and as I did, the rage I was feeling went away. "But if I have to die to make sure you live, that's something I'm willing to sacrifice." Her eyes widened as I spoke, and I felt her start to say something within my mind, but didn't. "Regis is healing me up, maybe with your help I'll stand a chance, but don't fight me on this."
"Arthur...." She said my name, the worried expression she was wearing before reappeared. "You can't die."
"Then let's kill whoever this is together." I gestured towards her mother. "Then, we'll find a way out of this place and heal up." I didn't know if I was even able to defeat Sylvie in this state, she was one of the strongest asuras, and I am in a bad condition. "Watch my back, I'll go in close."
"You sure?" Sylvie asked, and I sent her a nod, not a good one, I really wasn't that sure about this. "Fine, then I'll shoot mana at her while you fight in hand to hand, just stay alive, Arthur, that's all I'm asking, don't kill yourself with destruction, stop using it right now."
I didn't have them activated right now, it was hard getting them off me, stopping the spell, but with Regis's help, I ended up doing it. I am worried though, without them, I might not be able to deal serious blows to her, but a sword in the throat is still a sword in the throat.
I god stepped into Sylvia and swung my sword over her head, she ducked, sent a punch into my stomach, but missed as I god stepped again. I appeared on the side of her as Sylvie started launching mana beams at her, forcing her to avoid not just me, but now those.
I dodged another strike, then another, rolled under a mana strike, then my blade connected with a mana shield that Sylvia conjured right in front of her face. "You know, I like the other you a lot better." I gave her a confused look, not knowing what she meant by that. "He may be here soon."
"What?" I said in confusion, hearing it, but not understanding it. I sent a kick into her stomach, but a mana shield appeared again, blocking my strike. I god stepped again around her, sending a sword towards her, conjuring and propelling it.
She jumped over it, landed on the ground, dodged an attack from Sylvie, then rolled under my sword as I swung it back at her. Sylvia shot a mana strike at me, knocking me in the stomach, I fell back slightly, god stepped, not really hurt by it.
I could feel my body struggling to move as I continued to fight, Cadell broke me, it's been rough, and as Regis heals me, I can feel everything lightening up a little, just a little. I god stepped in, dodging a strike, then slit her side a little as I swung my sword.
Blood dripped from her, but she seemed unfazed, the wound closed with aether within a second or two, then mana came at me, but missed as I god stepped and shot a couple more blades of aether at her.
