Arthur Leywin

"We should go." I said, wiping the last of the tears free from my face, they stained me, but I didn't care who saw me like this, I had a right to cry for my little brother. I had Regis heal my hand and body while we sat here with Virion, taking everything in.

Sylvie didn't respond, she just nodded her head, and as we stood up, I scooped Virion's corpse up off the ground. My bond, Sylvie, just watched, her eyes red, anger clear, all she wanted to do was save him, be with him, and now, that wasn't going to happen.

Like someone was watching, well, I knew someone was, Melody showed up, an elf actually, she started crying when she saw Virion's corpse, but quickly wiped the tears away and told me that when I was ready to leave to shoot an aetheric blast into the air.

She was lucky I healed up, otherwise that would not have been possible, but I did, so as Sylvie and I stood there, I aimed my hand up and released an aetheric blast into the air, and at the sound of the explosion, a portal opened up in front of us.

I gave Sylvie one last look, she was gone, it was going to take a lot of time for her to recover. He might have been my brother, and I will remember him forever, it hurts even thinking about it, but she was more than that, the two of them developed such a relationship that bonded them together.

The two of us stepped into the portal, and as the light flashed my eyes, we ended up on the other side within Agrona's room. The only reason I know it's his room is because there's no other person within this place that would have all these mana beasts and devices on the walls.

"Arthur." Melody, someone I have just truly met, stepped up and ran a hand through Virion's face. "Thank you for bringing him back." She said, then ran a hand down my shoulder. "I'm sorry, I really am."

I wanted to be mad at her, be at everyone who followed Virion, but how could I anymore, he, he did it all for us. He did it because he had a monster inside of him controlling him, and without my anger towards him, that monster would have gotten completely free with Virion's blood magic.

I nodded my head, the words, well, there were no words, I couldn't speak, it's just hitting me all over again. "Come on." She motioned towards the couches in the room with a table in between. "You can put him down on the table, Arthur."

"Okay." I said, a little unwavering, but she understood, sitting there looking at me with sad eyes as well, was her sister, I hadn't met her, but I knew it because she looked exactly the same as Melody.

"Arthur, I'm Melody's sister, Cassandra." She said, standing up as I placed Virion's corpse, very, very, very slowly on the table. "I'm sorry for your loss." I shot her a head nod, and a slight smile, and as I did that, Sylvie took a seat by Virion's head on one of the couches.

"Please, sit down." Melody told me, and I made my way to sit down beside her, the twins sat across from us, Virion's body in between, something that did in fact annoy me, or well, more hurt me I should say. "There's a lot to discuss, but before we do, is there anything else you would like to say to Virion before Ivy comes for him?"

I looked at Sylvie who was just staring at Veer and shook my head. "I think, I think we are good for now." She nodded her head, understanding, and as she did, a green haired girl came walking into the room, her eyes red like Veer, one of his children.

"Ivy, take your father downstairs to the lab." Melody told her, and as she did, my confusion grew. "Stay down there with him, we don't need anything happening to him when he's already dead." I looked up at Ivy, she was just staring at Virion with sad eyes. "Ivy."
