I was sitting there with Sylvie by my side, enjoying what was happening around me, the people I loved enjoying the end. I was happy with the outcome, but of course, I wish I could have saved a little more people.

Tessia had asked me to bring her family here who stopped in with the Glayders with Seris to inform everybody what had gone down, and in their return, the Glayders came as well. So, sitting with us around a fire, was the Glayders who were no longer Kings, Kathyln, Curtis, the Eraliths, Seris, Caera, and my boy Cylrit was with us who was still recovering from his injuries.

Chul didn't show up, he was injured, and I think pissed, while I was asleep Arthur told him about what I did to Mordain, not supporting it, but it was done. In my defense, he was helping our enemy in erasing this timeline, so I did what I had to. I didn't know at the time, but it's fine, not my fault he was an idiot.

Everybody was just talking to one another, different conversations, I spoke with Kathyln and Curtis for a little, it was a little awkward, but it was nice, I haven't spoken to them in quite some time.

"It's weird, isn't it?" I asked, looking at Sylvie as I held my arm around her. She gave me a confused look, so I continued to speak. "Everybody being like this." I motioned towards everyone as I took a sip of my drink, it was some old wine Agrona had, I made sure it wasn't poisoned before giving it to everybody. "Happy, knowing that there isn't any more enemies we have to fight."

"Yeah." Sylvie said, nodding her head. "I'm just happy you are here with us, and not acting like an enemy anymore." I rolled my eyes. "There was a time where I was worried about if we would ever see you as an ally again, but let's not think about that anymore, enjoy yourself, Veer."

"I am." I said, taking another sip. She rolled her own eyes this time seeing me drinking my pain away, even if that's not what she was thinking. "I'm going to need another drink soon though." I placed my glass down on a table I conjured above me.

I could enjoy staying in Taegrin Caelum for the rest of my life, but I don't think it's a good idea, I mean, this view over the mountains around us was amazing. The place just brings in too many memories for me that I rather not think about.

"Slow down, Virion." My mother told me from our side, sitting with my father who was drunk already, the Twin Horns, the ones that were left merely laughed with him as they drank with him. "I know ---"

"Oh, Alice, let him have his fun." My father interrupted him, and just when I thought my mother was going to scold him, she sighed.

"Fine, but I'm merely looking out for him, that is all." She added, and I sent her a smile. "You know that."

"I do." I said. "And I appreciate it."

As I look at them smiling, it's weird to think that these really are my parents, before, I always looked at them as my parents, but I knew I was a reincarnate, that they weren't my true parents. However, now, even though Agrona caused my birth, I am truly their child, and I am happy about all of that.

"I got him." Sylvie told my mother, and they nodded. "Don't I?" She turned to me and said, and I simply mocked her as I stood up. "Don't get so flustered, I thought you were a Devil."

"Too soon." I said, shaking my head with a smile on my face as I jokingly added. "And I thought you loved me." I grabbed my glass, downed the rest of it and turned away from them, making my way over towards a table with a bunch of different bottles on it.

"So, you are giving me the Sovereign title." Seris said from my side as I arrived at the table. "I truly appreciate it, I never thought you would live up to your promise you made so long ago when I trained you to use vritra magic."
