Ivy Leywin

"I have to imagine father and Arthur are fighting somewhere, if we are, they are." Gunnar said, and I nodded, that's why I feel like this isn't over, if they had killed whoever they were fighting, we would be back on the battlefield with the asuras.

"Exactly." I said. "Stay on guard, this could just be round one." I hoped it wasn't, and that this was over, because if they were the warmups, whoever came next was going to be a struggle to kill. "And we are all injured."

Raven's eyes were now closed, but she was still breathing slowly, her heartbeat slowing as well, not good signs right now. The wounds were closed, the holes in her gone, but the internal damage was too much for us to handle by ourselves.

We can't regrow organs as well as father, Damon was the only one capable of that out of us, and well, he's dead now again, so we couldn't rely on him to come back and heal her. I couldn't lose her as well, Raven was a crazy bitch, but she was my sister.

Father, please come and help us...

"I guess I have to handle this situation a little more aggressively." I heard a voice say from behind me, and in an instance, Gunnar's head was on the ground. "The pawns couldn't handle the dirty work here."

My head snapped behind me, and as I got to my feet, a purple scythe shot at me, I couldn't sense it, but I dodged it just barely. I shot a look at Rosa, she was on her knees, breathing heavily, coughing up blood.

Nithe shot me a look, a worried one, knowing that this wasn't going to end well for us. The figure in front of us was unknown, I never saw them before, a man, a Djinn if I had to guess by the aether form he was in.

"I'm sorry, children, you shouldn't have ever existed." He said in a sympathetic, yet confident expression. "This timeline is imperfect, I must fix it for the sake of the world." Nithe and I stepped further in front of our siblings, Gunnar is dead, but Rosa and Raven are still breathing, even if it is slightly.

"What?" I asked, looking at him. "Are you too scared to show your face? You have to stay in what, a purple looking form in front of us?" I smirked. "Makes sense, you had to separate us all I'm assuming to take us out."

The purple mots that made up the man, faltered for a second, then as he nodded his head, a body started to form. "You are right." He said, and that's when Nithe and I froze even more. "I couldn't take you all out if you were together, but separately, I knew I could kill you."

"A-Arthur?" Nithe said in confusion. "I don't understand, this doesn't make sense, why, why are you here? Why are you doing all of this?" I didn't know what to think, this wasn't making sense, the timelines, aether, fate, and now him being here.

"I'm not your Arthur, I'm not really even Arthur, I'd say I'm more Grey." He told us, purple flashes appeared around his hands as he stood there facing us. "I am also fate, I have to make sure each timeline, before it reaches a point in history, is balanced."

"And if it isn't balance? You what, kill everyone?" I asked, feeling the vines wrap around my legs, preparing to defend against his aether strikes. "That's not balancing the scale."

"What would you call it?" He asked, looking at me, then as he smiled, he went on. "You know, this is the only timeline that I have a brother in, I never got to experience it, I've seen his work, it's quite amazing, I won't like, which also means, this is the first timeline I'm meeting, what are you, my nephews and nieces?"

"You are nothing to us." I told him, snarling a little. "Just let this timeline go, leave us, and we'll call this all even."

"Hahaa." He laughed, shaking his head. "I can't do that, I mean, I could, but Virion Leywin has become too much of a threat, I can't just let him be, his existence is just too potent to this world." I mean, I could understand that if he was Agrona, but why would Arthur care about someone who has killed over five hundred thousand people. "I must erase the anomalies, and I am starting with his children."
