It was the summer of 1996 and the Potter twins were sitting in a small cafe at the train station. The twins had spent most of their summer, riding on the trains in and around of London. A pretty girl with long ginger hair, Mia was sitting in silence, drinking her coffee as she read the Daily Prophet as a tall, black girl came over to the twins.
"Mia and Harry Potter," she said, looking at the paper, "who's Mia and Harry Potter?" Mia moved the paper down, looked at the cover where a photo of her and Harry were and then looked back at the girl with a raised eyebrow.
"Umm, no one," Harry said, "just two tossers, really." Mia looked at her brother and then sipped her coffee.
"Funny that paper of yours," the girl said as Mia looked at her. "Half an hour or so ago I could've sworn I saw a picture move."
"Really?" Mia asked, shrugging.
"Are you two together?" the girl asked as both Mia and Harry looked disgusted.
"Ew no," Mia said as Harry nodded, "he's my twin."
"Right," the girl said as she smiled at Harry then walked away.
"Hey, I was wondering," Harry began as the girl turned and looked at him.
"Eleven," she said as Mia looked at her brother in disgust, "that's when I get off. You can tell me all about those tossers Mia and Harry Potter."
Harry nodded and smiled as Mia raised an eyebrow.
"What about Ginny?" Mia mumbled as Harry nudged her.
"Shush," he said as the ginger girl smiled to herself. She sipped her coffee and as she looked up, her blue eyes went wide.
"Er, Harry?"
"What?"
Mia pointed across the train tracks where tall figure in a long, billowing cloak was stood.
"Um, what the fuck?" she asked, amused as she stood up. "Come on."
She walked out of the cafe and onto the opposite side of the tracks where she got a better look. There opposite her stood a tall, thin man with waist-length silver hair and beard. Half-moon spectacles were perched on hiscrooked nose, and he was wearing a long black traveling cloak anda pointed hat.
"What the fuck?" she asked as she grabbed her brother's wrist, dragged him up the stairs, across the walkaway and towards the tall man.
