"W-What was that?" Hermione asked, sniffing as tears ran down her cheeks.
"We'll find out," Lupin said as he, Mr. Weasley, Kingsley and Bill walked into the garden. Standing in the middle of the garden was the outline of a figure they could not see.
"Who are you?" Lupin called, holding his wand out. "Reveal yourself!"
A bright red glow emerged, revealing Mia standing there. There was blood splattered all over her face, in her ginger hair and all over her entire body. Her entire body was covered in cuts and bruises as she looked pale and terrified.
"MIA!" Harry yelled, rushing to run to his sister.
"WAIT!" Lupin yelled, stopping Harry. "We have to make sure it's Mia."
"It is her!" Harry yelled, his emotions flying all over the place.
"What was the first thing you ever said to me?" Lupin called. "Where was it and what happened?"
"Dudley's birthday," Mia gasped, "we were at the zoo, a-and I said excuse me, I've lost my brother, have, have you seen him? He's about my heigh, black hair, glasses." She gasped for breath as she coughed up blood onto the floor. "You, you looked around and pointed at the snake tank."
Everyone looked at Lupin who nodded.
"It's her," he said. The second the words left his mouth, Harry sprinted towards his sister and hugged her tightly. Mia sobbed into her brother's shoulder as she held onto him as Ron and Hermione ran towards them and the four best friends hugged each other tightly. Mia sniffed as she looked at her friends and smiled.
"Come on, let's get you inside," Hermione said, wrapping her arm around Mia and leading the young girl inside. As Mia walked in, her eyes went wide.
"What the fuck happened to you?" she asked, looking shocked when she saw George lying on the sofa, missing an ear.
"Nothing much, you?" George joked as Mia chuckled.
"Nothing much," she panted, out of breath.
"So, what happened?" Mia asked once she was sat down.
"Mad-Eye's dead," Bill said, walking into the room.
"Oh fuck," Mia said shocked as she took a shaky breath. "How?"
"Mundungus took one look atVoldemort and Disapparated," Bill said as Mia scoffed.
"Did you see Voldemort?" Harry asked as Mia nodded.
"He tried to kill me, big surprise," Mia said as Harry looked at her. "The Death Eaters chased me to the ground, then they vanished. Next thing I know, I'm staring at Voldemort and he's trying to kill me."
"How did you get away?" Hermione asked.
"I got him into the sky and he got caught in a telephone wire or something," she said chuckling.
