Later that evening, Mia was sitting in the Astronomy Tower. Her legs were dangling over the edge as she stared at the starry night sky. As the ginger girl stared at the moon, she heard footsteps. She quickly turned around and saw Draco standing there, looking worried.
"Draco," she said as she looked at him. "Hi."
"Hi," he said as she looked at him.
"Do you want to join me?" she asked. He hesitated and then nodded. He sat next to her as Mia looked at him.
"How are you?" she asked as he shrugged.
"Been better," he said smiling weakly, "you?"
"About the same," she said smiling weakly.
He nodded as he looked at her quickly before looking away.
"What's up with you?" she asked as she looked at him.
"What do you mean?" he asked as she narrowed her eyes slightly.
"Something's not right with you," she said as he looked at her. "Something's off."
"Just wasn't a good summer," he said, "didn't realise you cared about me that much."
"There it is," she said chuckling as she looked away.
She didn't notice Draco subtly scratching at his left arm as he kept glancing at Mia.

"Where have you been?!"
Mia had just walked through the Gryffindor Common Room and was met with an annoyed Hermione.
"I was out for a walk," she says confused. "Why are we annoyed?"
"Does the Half-Blood Prince mean anything to you?"
"Er, no," Mia lied smoothly as she shrugged.
"Then, what is this?" Hermione asked, bringing Mia's potion book out from behind her back as her face dropped.
"A potion book," the ginger girl said. Hermione sighed as she opened the cover and Mia sighed. "Ah, shit."
"Did you not think to hand this in?" Hermione asked as Mia shook her head.
"Fuck no," she said laughing, "I'm brilliant at Potions, why would I want to give that up?" Hermione's face dropped as Ron laughed.
"Told you she'd say that," he said as Mia chuckled.
"Just because you can't handle someone being better than you," Mia said as Hermione's face dropped.
"That's not the point!"
"It kinda is," Mia said as she sat on the sofa in between her brother and Harry. "And why the fuck have you got my book?"
"You left it in your bag," Harry said.
