Seokjin & Grace - Wear You Like a Necklace

It was common knowledge in BTS and their team that Jungkook was the favourite. He was the apple of everyone's eye and when it came to his noona, he was right up there at the top of the list. Jungkook's own love for his noona was evident in the necklace Grace always wore - a long thin gold chain with JK in gold pendants. The others had moaned and whined that they weren't part of the necklace or part of any other jewellery Grace wore but they understood the special relationship between JK and Grace.

For Seokjin, who had playfully exclaimed that Jungkook was trying to take away Grace from them all, wasn't worried about being part of the necklace. The emerald band on Grace's middle finger that he had bought her awhile back was also never taken off and her wedding ring remained free for the day he got the courage to buy the ring he had been thinking of.

But still, at the back of his mind, there was a little niggle that JK had the necklace.

However, fans soon noticed there was an addition to the jewellery Grace started to wear when she was promoting her first proper album, In My Head.

'Has anyone noticed that there's a new necklace Grace has started to wear?'

'Does she still have the JK necklace or has she replaced it?'

'I can't make out what the pendant is!'

That's all ARMY's were commenting under the recent Instagram post on Big Hit's page where they had shared a new still from Grace's recent photoshoot for her tour. It had people scrambling across the web trying to find the right necklace that matched what they were seeing in a blurry picture and even the most dedicated Instagram account's who could find what BTS were wearing in an instant were baffled.

A month later, everyone got their answer when Grace appeared for an interview with a magazine.

"The necklace?" Grace asked, as if unaware she had been causing nothing but headaches for everyone. "I've got my JK necklace that Jungkook got me for Mother's Day," she said as she held up the pendant.

"And the other one is a recent addition," she continued as her fingers touched the pendant in question. "So in one of my songs, So It Goes, there's a lyric which is 'wear you like a necklace' and Seokjin always reminds me that I don't wear him like a necklace and the only thing I have is my emerald band so basically, to shut him up, I got this designed."

The camera zoomed in on the necklace in question which was another gold chain, slightly thicker, but the pendant was the most special part. A round blue topaz, the birthstone of December, which was the size of a penny and on the other side it had KS which Grace revealed to be as obvious as it was: Kim Seokjin.

"So now I wear him like a necklace and I've got the ring."

"But not the ring we all want for you," the interviewer pointed out while pointing a finger to Grace's bare wedding finger.

"Not yet, nearly there."
