The cold water was unforgiving, cutting through him like icy blades as he held his breath and performed the intricate, slow movements required for the underwater scenes in "Trigger." Haknyeon felt the chill seep deep into his bones, but he remained focused, pushing through each take. The directors and crew had specific shots in mind, so he stayed submerged for minutes at a time, resurfacing just long enough to catch his breath.

After the final scene, he was exhausted, and as he dried off, Haknyeon noticed how his fingers felt numb and his face was strangely flushed despite the cold water. He shook it off, chalking it up to the toll of the long day. But as he drove back to rejoin the rest of The Boyz, his energy felt drained, like he was fighting off a heavy drowsiness. His hands felt weak on the steering wheel, yet he continued to reassure himself that everything was fine. It was just post-filming fatigue... right?

When he arrived at the set for the group dance scene, he plastered on a smile, ignoring the slight tremor in his fingers as he greeted his fellow members. Sunwoo noticed him shivering slightly, eyebrows furrowing. "Are you sure you're good, Haknyeon-hyung?" Sunwoo asked, eyes scanning him with concern.

"Just tired," Haknyeon replied, giving a reassuring pat on Sunwoo's shoulder before taking his place. But when they hit the chorus, he could feel himself struggling more with each movement. His legs felt like they were wading through sand, a sticky, heavy sensation that made every step harder than the last. When his legs finally buckled, he barely managed to catch himself, landing on one hand to steady himself. A sharp pain shot up his wrist, but he clenched his jaw, masking the pain as best he could.

The other members immediately noticed and rushed to his side, their faces a mixture of worry and panic. Sunwoo's hand was on his shoulder in an instant, and Kevin knelt beside him, placing a hand on his back.

"Haknyeon, are you alright?" Kevin's voice was gentle but filled with concern.

Haknyeon forced a small smile. "I'm okay, just... a little dizzy." He pulled his hand back, flexing his fingers as the ache in his wrist throbbed. "I just need a minute."

Sunwoo and Kevin exchanged glances, clearly unconvinced, but they helped him to a nearby chair. As he sat down, Haknyeon closed his eyes briefly, trying to steady his breathing. His pulse pounded in his temples, and he couldn't shake the gnawing cold in his bones. But he didn't want to worry his members or delay the shoot, so he took a few steadying breaths and gave a weak thumbs-up to the crew, signaling he was ready to continue.

As the hours passed, the exhaustion weighed down on him even more. He barely noticed the temperature dropping as night fell, the air becoming colder and biting. They moved outside for the final shots, and Haknyeon wrapped his arms around himself, shivering despite his layers. His vision started to blur around the edges, but he shook his head, trying to stay focused.

Just a few more takes, he told himself. You're almost there.

But as they began the last scene, a wave of dizziness washed over him. His knees wobbled, and his hands felt clammy. He instinctively reached out, clutching onto Hyunjae's arm to keep himself upright.

Hyunjae turned in alarm, his grip tightening on Haknyeon's shoulder. "Haknyeon, are you okay?" he asked, his eyes scanning Haknyeon's pale face with growing concern.

"I... I'm so cold..." Haknyeon's voice was barely a whisper, his words trailing off as his body gave in to the overwhelming fatigue and chill. His vision darkened, and before he could finish his sentence, he fainted, his body going limp in Hyunjae's arms.

For a moment, Hyunjae was frozen, the shock of Haknyeon's sudden collapse leaving him paralyzed. But then, he felt the alarming cold radiating from Haknyeon's skin, and he quickly gathered his senses. "Someone call an ambulance!" Hyunjae shouted, panic lacing his voice.

The other members turned at Hyunjae's shout, their faces filling with alarm as they saw Haknyeon, pale and unmoving, in Hyunjae's arms. Jacob and Sangyeon rushed over, helping Hyunjae lay Haknyeon down gently on the ground. They huddled around him, shielding him from the wind as they tried to keep him warm.

Younghoon knelt beside Haknyeon, taking his cold hand and rubbing it gently to generate warmth. "Come on, Haknyeon," he murmured, worry etched deeply on his face. "Just hang in there."

The minutes dragged on, each second feeling like an eternity as they waited for the ambulance to arrive. Kevin wrapped his jacket around Haknyeon, desperately trying to keep the chill from worsening. Sunwoo held Haknyeon's other hand, silently willing him to wake up.

Finally, the distant wail of sirens filled the night, and the ambulance arrived. The paramedics moved quickly, assessing Haknyeon's condition and loading him onto a stretcher. The members watched with anxious eyes as the paramedics worked, their worry etched into every line of their faces.

Hyunjae, still reeling from the shock of catching Haknyeon as he fell, barely registered the paramedic's question until Sangyeon nudged him. "Are you coming with him?" the paramedic repeated gently.

Hyunjae nodded quickly, climbing into the ambulance without a second thought. The ride to the hospital was a blur, the only thing grounding him being Haknyeon's pale face and the shallow rise and fall of his chest.

Once they arrived at the hospital, Haknyeon was rushed into the emergency room. Hyunjae paced anxiously in the waiting area, his mind racing with guilt and worry. The rest of the members arrived shortly after, each of them carrying the same heavy concern in their eyes.

It wasn't until an hour later that a doctor approached them, explaining that Haknyeon was suffering from severe exhaustion and hypothermia. They had managed to stabilize him, but he would need time to recover fully.

The members let out a collective sigh of relief, though the weight of the night's events still hung heavily in the air. Hyunjae was allowed to see Haknyeon first, and he entered the room quietly, his heart aching at the sight of his friend lying so still.

Haknyeon's eyes fluttered open after a while, and he managed a small smile when he saw Hyunjae. "Hey..." he murmured, his voice weak but warm.

"Hey, yourself," Hyunjae replied, a relieved smile tugging at his lips. "You scared us, you know that?"

Haknyeon chuckled weakly, his eyes softening. "Sorry... I thought I could handle it."

Hyunjae sat down beside him, his expression turning serious. "Don't apologize. Just... please don't push yourself so hard next time. We're a team, Haknyeon. We've got each other's backs."

Haknyeon's eyes grew misty, and he nodded. "I'll remember that."

One by one, the other members visited, each of them offering their own brand of support and encouragement. They stayed with him throughout the night, a quiet reassurance that they were in this together.

As dawn broke, Haknyeon drifted back to sleep, the warmth of his friends' presence finally dispelling the lingering cold in his bones. The Boyz gathered around him, united in their determination to take care of each other, no matter what challenges lay ahead.
