The apartment was unusually quiet for a Friday evening. RIIZE had just wrapped up an exhausting day of promotions, and the members were scattered in their usual spots, recharging after their hectic schedule. Wonbin lounged on the couch, his headphones on as he played a video game, occasionally letting out frustrated groans. Shotaro scrolled through fan messages on his phone, his expression softening with each heartwarming comment. Meanwhile, Sungchan lay sprawled on the floor with a pile of fan letters in front of him, grinning at their heartfelt words.

At the dining table, Anton sat nursing a steaming cup of tea. The youngest member, typically full of energy and mischief, was unusually quiet. His face was slightly pale, his shoulders hunched forward as though weighed down by an invisible burden.

For weeks, Anton had been feeling off. At first, it had been a faint, nagging tightness in his chest—something easy to dismiss as the effects of stress or a lingering cold. But as the days passed, the discomfort worsened. His breaths sometimes felt shallow, and a dull ache would creep into his lungs when he exerted himself. Anton, however, had brushed it off.

After all, they were at the peak of their promotional cycle. He didn't want to be the one to bring everything to a halt.

From the kitchen, Sohee glanced over while slicing fruit. Always attentive to his members, he had noticed Anton's subdued demeanor. "Anton, you good?" he called out, his tone casual but laced with concern.

Anton blinked, startled out of his thoughts. "Yeah," he replied, forcing a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes. "Just tired."

Sohee frowned slightly but decided not to push. Anton had always been reserved, especially when it came to admitting discomfort.

As the evening wore on, the members gathered in the living room for dinner. Bowls of steaming ramen and side dishes were spread across the table, and the atmosphere lightened with the familiar comfort of good food and good company.

Laughter filled the room as Sungchan recounted a particularly chaotic moment from a recent variety show appearance. The others chimed in, teasing one another and reenacting exaggerated versions of their missteps.

Anton tried to join in, laughing along with his hyungs, but he barely touched his food. The dull ache in his chest had intensified, and a strange tightness made swallowing difficult. He focused on sipping his tea, hoping no one would notice.

"Anton," Seunghan said suddenly, eyeing him with concern, "you've barely eaten. Are you feeling okay?"

"I'm fine," Anton said quickly, his voice slightly hoarse. "Just not that hungry."

Before anyone could press further, a sharp cough erupted from Anton's throat. It started small but quickly grew violent, his body convulsing with the force of it. The room fell silent as everyone turned to look at him, their previous laughter replaced with worry.

Anton raised a trembling hand to his mouth, trying to stifle the fit. When it finally subsided, he lowered his hand—and froze. A faint smear of blood stained his palm.

"Anton!" Shotaro was the first to react, his voice high with alarm. He rushed to his side, his usual calm demeanor shattered. "Are you okay? What's going on?"

The room erupted into chaos.

"Get a tissue!" Wonbin yelled, grabbing a napkin from the table and handing it to Anton, who was trying to hide his hand.

"Water—he needs water!" Seunghan exclaimed, rushing to the kitchen.

Sohee hovered nearby, his face pale. "Anton, talk to us. Are you in pain?"
