It was a normal day of preparation for the DKB members as they got ready for a special variety show appearance. The excitement was palpable as the group finalized their rehearsals backstage. This particular variety show was going to be a big deal, and the members were ready to make an impression, each one of them eager to showcase their personality and talents for the audience.

E-Chan, the leader and main rapper of DKB, had been taking charge as usual, leading the group in their final preparations. He was always the one to keep things organized, to make sure everything ran smoothly and everyone was in sync. His energy was infectious, and he made sure to keep everyone's spirits high. But even with his usual air of confidence, today felt different. There was an unspoken tension in the air as they all knew how much this appearance would mean for their career.

"Alright, guys. Let's keep the energy up, but don't overdo it. We want to look our best out there!" E-Chan said, his voice firm but encouraging. His eyes scanned his members, making sure everyone was focused.

"Got it, Hyung!" Yuku said, giving a quick nod. He was standing next to Heechan, their arms swinging as they rehearsed their choreography for the variety segment. The younger members, including Lune, Junseo, and GK, moved with them, perfecting every move with the precision they had worked so hard to achieve.

However, as they prepared to head out on stage, a strange sense of unease began to spread through the group. The set for the variety show was designed with several moving platforms, each one elevated from the ground, adding a dynamic element to the performance. The design had been checked during rehearsals, and everything seemed stable—at least, that's what everyone thought.

Just as the members were finishing their final prep, the lights flickered, and the floor beneath them seemed to tremble. E-Chan, always quick to assess the situation, immediately felt something wasn't right.

"Yuku, move!" E-Chan shouted, his eyes widening. Without thinking, he pushed his younger member aside with enough force to send Yuku stumbling back.

"Hyung, what's—" Yuku started, but his words were cut off by a terrifying noise.

A crack. A deep, resounding crack echoed from beneath their feet.

Before any of them could react, the platform under E-Chan gave way. The floor collapsed beneath him with a horrific screech of bending metal and snapping wood, sending debris flying in every direction. Everything seemed to move in slow motion, but Yuku could still hear the crushing sound of metal, followed by the sound of E-Chan's body hitting the ground below.

"Hyung!" Yuku screamed, but his voice barely registered. His body was frozen in place, his heart pounding in his chest. His mind raced as his eyes scanned the wreckage, looking for any sign of E-Chan.

The others, having heard the sound and witnessed the collapse, rushed toward the spot where the stage had fallen apart. D1 and GK were the first to reach the wreckage, both of them calling out for their leader.

"He's under there," D1 said, his voice shaking. "We need to move this—now!"

Junseo, Heechan, Harry-June and Lune were quick to help, grabbing whatever they could—pieces of wood, metal, even large chunks of debris—and tossing them aside, determined to get to E-Chan. But the rubble was heavy, and the space was tight. Every second felt like an eternity.

Yuku stood frozen, his eyes fixed on the pile of debris, the guilt flooding his chest. If only he had moved faster, if only he hadn't hesitated—E-Chan might not have been hurt. It was his fault. E-Chan had pushed him out of the way to save him. And now, Yuku feared the worst.

"Yuku-hyung, come on! We need your help!" Harry June's voice broke through his thoughts, pulling him from his spiraling panic. He turned to see his maknae, Harry June, trying to pull him closer to the wreckage.
