The Cravity dorm was alive with its usual energy. Laughter bounced off the walls as the members relaxed in the living room, sprawled out on couches, beanbags, and the floor. Seongmin, the maknae, sat curled up on the far end of the largest couch. His knees were pulled to his chest, and his arms loosely circled his midsection. He forced a smile, joining in the laughter when someone cracked a joke, but the truth was, he was struggling to focus.

For weeks, his stomach had been bothering him. At first, he thought it was just another upset stomach. He got those often enough, and they usually passed after a few hours. But this time was different. The pain wasn’t fading—it was getting worse. A sharp, stabbing ache lingered in his stomach, accompanied by persistent nausea and a dull headache that wouldn’t leave him alone.

“Seongmin, are you okay?” Allen’s voice cut through the noise.

Seongmin’s head snapped up, his smile automatic. “Yeah, I’m fine, hyung,” he said lightly, waving a hand.

Allen didn’t look convinced. His sharp eyes lingered on the younger for a moment longer, but Seongmin averted his gaze and shifted in his seat. He didn’t want to worry anyone. It was probably nothing serious, just something he’d eaten—or maybe stress from their packed schedule.

He shifted again, trying to ease the stabbing pain in his abdomen. The small movement made his nausea worsen, and for a moment, the room swam before his eyes. He clenched his jaw, willing the dizziness to pass.

“Seongmin?” Taeyoung, sitting beside him, looked over with a frown. “You’re awfully quiet. Are you sure you’re okay?”

“I’m fine, really,” Seongmin said, pushing himself to sit up straighter. The movement sent another wave of dizziness crashing over him, and he grabbed onto the armrest of the couch to steady himself.

Taeyoung opened his mouth to press further, but before he could, a voice boomed from the stairs.

“Seongmin!”

Hyeongjun descended the staircase, his tone sharp with annoyance. He had been looking for Seongmin to help him with something and was irritated that the maknae hadn’t responded.

“Where have you been? I’ve been calling you!” Hyeongjun said, storming into the living room. His irritation faded the moment he got a good look at Seongmin.

The maknae was pale, his face coated in a thin sheen of sweat. His posture was hunched, his hand clutching his stomach tightly.

“Are you okay?” Hyeongjun’s voice softened, his brows knitting together in concern.

Seongmin shook his head slowly, his free hand moving to cover his mouth as his stomach twisted violently. The nausea he’d been suppressing for hours surged forward, making his eyes water.

“Move!” he croaked, shoving past Hyeongjun as he bolted toward the nearest bathroom.

“Seongmin!” Hyeongjun called after him, his voice laced with panic.

The other members, now fully alert, exchanged worried looks before following. Allen, Serim, and Taeyoung were the first to reach the bathroom, where they found Seongmin kneeling over the toilet.

He retched violently, his entire body convulsing as he emptied the contents of his stomach. Allen knelt beside him, placing a steadying hand on his back.

“Breathe, Seongmin. It’s okay,” Allen said softly, though his own heart was racing.

Seongmin gagged again, this time bringing up a horrifying mix of stomach acid and blood.
