The morning sun stretched over the horizon, streaking the sky in breathtaking hues of gold, orange, and soft pink. The early light cast a warm glow over the secluded beach, where the fine sand glistened as though dusted with tiny specks of gold. The ocean stretched endlessly before them, a mesmerizing shade of turquoise, its surface rippling as waves rolled in slow, rhythmic pulses, kissing the shoreline before retreating back into the vast expanse.

The scent of salt hung thick in the air, mingling with the faintest trace of sunscreen and the crisp freshness of the ocean breeze. Seagulls drifted overhead, their distant cries blending with the sound of water crashing against the rocks further down the coast. It was perfect—the kind of place that didn’t need a filter to look like paradise.

Ampers&One had barely stepped onto the sand when Kamden inhaled deeply, his chest expanding with the rush of cool morning air. A wide grin spread across his face as he took in the view before him, his eyes shimmering with excitement.

"Man," he breathed, hands on his hips, soaking in the endless stretch of water. "This place is incredible."

Beside him, Jiho squinted toward the horizon, shielding his eyes from the sun’s glare. His expression, however, was less awestruck and more suspicious.

"It’s beautiful, yeah," Jiho admitted, shifting his weight, "but I don’t trust it."

Kamden turned to him with an amused scoff. "You make it sound like the ocean’s out to get us."

Jiho gave him a deadpan look. "I mean, it might be. We don’t know what’s lurking under there."

Before Kamden could respond, Brian—who had been eavesdropping—sauntered over with a smirk.

"Jiho’s just mad that his feet touched seaweed earlier," Brian quipped, nudging him playfully.

Jiho recoiled at the mention, his face twisting in disgust. "That stuff is weird—like nature’s booby trap." He shuddered, shaking his arms as if still trying to rid himself of the memory.

Siyun, standing nearby with his arms crossed, let out a dramatic sigh. "We’re here to film a music video, not argue about seaweed."

"Tell that to Jiho-hyung," Mackiah muttered under his breath, earning a chuckle from Kyrell.

Before Jiho could fire back, the director clapped his hands, drawing the group’s attention.

"Alright, listen up!" he called out over the sound of waves. "The concept for this scene is freedom, escape, and chasing your dreams. We want energy, we want movement, we want to capture the feeling of letting go. You guys will be running through the surf, playing in the water—just having fun."

A murmur of excitement rippled through the group. Filming at a beach was a rare treat, and getting to act natural rather than stick to rigid choreography made it even better.

The director, however, turned toward Kamden with a more serious tone.

"Kamden, we need a solo shot of you swimming further out—it’s going to be the emotional centerpiece of the video. Just you and the ocean, completely free. It’s a powerful image."

Kamden nodded confidently, his heart thrumming with anticipation. "Got it. Just tell me where to go."

But before the director could give further instructions, Mackiah frowned, eyeing the water warily.

"Are we sure that’s safe?" he asked, his voice tinged with concern. "The waves are getting stronger."

"We have a lifeguard on duty," the director assured them. He turned back to Kamden, his tone firm but reassuring. "If at any point you feel uncomfortable, signal us, and we’ll pull you back."
