The 2024 Asia Artist Awards (AAA), held in Thailand's capital Bangkok, buzzed with energy as idols, actors, and fans gathered for one of the most prestigious nights in entertainment. Glittering lights illuminated the grand venue, cameras flashed incessantly, and excited whispers filled the air as stars walked the red carpet.

Among them were Ten from WayV and Natty from Kiss of Life, two Thai idols renowned for their charisma and artistry. Their collaboration stage was one of the night’s highlights, a fusion of powerful choreography and emotive vocals. The anticipation had been building for weeks, and fans couldn’t wait to witness the magic they would create together.

Backstage, Ten adjusted his microphone and glanced at Natty, who was warming up. “Ready?” he asked in Thai, his voice steady despite the adrenaline coursing through him.

Natty nodded with a determined smile. “Let’s make this unforgettable.”

Their stage was set. The lights dimmed as the announcement echoed through the hall:

“Presenting a special performance by WayV’s Ten and Kiss of Life’s Natty!”

The crowd erupted in cheers as the two stepped onto the stage. The music began, a haunting melody that transformed into a powerful beat. Their chemistry was electric, their movements perfectly synchronized. It was clear they had poured their hearts into every detail.

But as the performance reached its climax, an ominous creak echoed above the stage, barely audible over the music. Ten’s sharp eyes darted upward, catching sight of the structure holding the stage lights shifting unnaturally.

His chest tightened. Something was wrong.

The final chorus rang out, and the stage lights above began to flicker. Ten’s instincts went on high alert as he realized the massive steel frame holding the lights was coming loose.

“Natty, down!” he shouted, cutting through the music.

Natty froze for a moment, startled, but Ten didn’t wait. In one swift motion, he grabbed her arm and pulled her down to the floor, shielding her body with his own.

A deafening crash echoed through the venue as the structure came crashing down. Sparks flew as lights shattered and debris scattered across the stage. The music stopped abruptly, leaving an eerie silence in its wake.

The audience gasped in horror. Many stood up, craning their necks to see what had happened. Idol groups, actors, and staff watched in shock, frozen in their seats or rushing toward the edge of the stage.

The older NCT members—Taeyong, Johnny, Yuta, Kun, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Winwin—were the first to react. They bolted toward the stage, dodging debris as they called out for Ten and Natty.

“Ten! Natty!” Taeyong’s voice cracked as he climbed onto the stage, his eyes scanning the wreckage.

“Where are they?” Johnny shouted, his usually calm demeanor replaced with panic.

Meanwhile, the younger NCT members—Jungwoo, Mark, Xiaojun, Hendery, Haechan, and Yangyang—held back the Kiss of Life members, Julie, Belle, and Haneul, and the Wishies. They all were visibly shaken, tears streaming down their faces as they tried to rush toward the stage.

“It’s dangerous!” Hendery said firmly, holding Belle back.

“Please, let us see her!” Julie cried, her voice trembling.

“We will, I promise,” Jungwoo said gently, trying to calm them. “Let the hyungs handle it for now.”

In the audience, Suho from EXO, K and Fuma from &TEAM, and actors like Kentaro Sakaguchi, Park Min Young, and Ahn Bo Hyun quickly moved to assist. Suho took charge, organizing the effort to clear debris.
